what i would have loved in that prog about Richard lll, even though it was awful that they had stuck a sword up Rlll's buttocks, I was sooooo hoping Simon would look into the camera with that cheeky glint in his eyes he has, and say in THAT voice,'' well theres a sketch for STUPID DEATH'!!

and the guy that was in the last series but havent seen him in this one so far, he was in the 'dont wake the fuhrer' sketch as the guy who came out of hitlers room with the breakfast order and was also in the Agincourt sketch and a couple of others. (you can see i dont know his name!!)

Alexaaaaaander is my new favourite HH song. The soft rock pastiches are always the best. So much sideways smouldering to camera, and a horse joke.

Have a son called Alexander, so the the chorus from the song immediately became my ring tone for when he calls me!

(And yes, I think it was Jalaal Hartley too - he was also in the Roman 'Hoo Haa' sketch)

and i like HH for HH but this makes me see just how much all the actors 'make' the show what it is.

Been listening a bit in the morning and have found the songs which I didn't necessarily fall in love with on first hearing have really grown on me. My favourites are S&G Vikings and Owain Glyndwr, closely followed by Rosa Parkes and Alexander. Not very keen on Crassus or Joan of Arc and I know everyone else likes the Dickens/Smiths one, but it's not one of my favourites. Haven't heard enough of last night's Grease one to be convinced yet, although it was nice to see all the men singing together.

I feel the same about the 'grease' one, weakest song so far for us here.

All the men all seemed very camp in this last episode! in every sketch!

I love the dickens one, re-ignited my 80's crush on Johnny Marr!!
