AIBU to be drooling at the television as the Horrible Histories men sing a song whilst looking very dapper in RAF uniforms

The one who is playing the Polish pilot... swoon

Btw YANBU OP (I've started similar threads before now Wink)

EcoLady · 08/06/2012 20:02

mmmmmmmmmm! Smile

GinLimeandLemonade · 08/06/2012 20:12

They're all lovely... [swoon]

HarleyQuinn · 08/06/2012 20:38

I agree with GinLimeandLemode, all very lovely!

DeWe · 08/06/2012 20:53

Ds (age 4yo) was demonstrating the airmen's song and dance for me yesterday. Unfortunately he was at the same time standing up to do a wee. The resulting mess means I no longer enjoy the song as much as I did.

His favourite bit is when they say they're known as "the Few" and the pilot goes "phew, he missed".

DiscoDaisy · 08/06/2012 21:00

I know which ones are Ben and Matt but which are Larry and Jim.
We all sing along in this house. HH is the only programme that my OH will quite happily sit and watch with our children.

Happenstance · 08/06/2012 21:12

Disco Jim is George 4th, greg from masterchef, O2 advert

Larry is bob hale :)

i also have a soft spot for Lawry glad hes in this series a bit more Grin

CanISawItOff · 08/06/2012 21:41

and Ben is John Torode I love the Masterchef skit, Greg Wallace has been done perfectly!

Mine love the Luddites song and will bounce round the house singing it after seeing it.

I think Matt is rather yum, and I agree HH is the one children's television programme that I sit and ogle watch.

Booette · 08/06/2012 21:45

YANBU. I'm so happy HH is my kids favourite TV programme!

DiscoDaisy · 08/06/2012 21:58

Thank you Happenstance!
My favourite song is the airmen closely followed by the George's.
Any sketch involving topless costumes always goes down well! (not that I'm shallow or anything!)
Children's telly is boring at the best of times so anything that makes it bearable is alright by me!

DioneTheDiabolist · 08/06/2012 22:01

I definitely would.
All of them.
Including the women!Blush

GiantPuffball · 08/06/2012 22:04

So that means Simon is ALL MINE!

Allice · 09/06/2012 10:25

EcoLady
The highwayman song makes me come over all faint!

My daughter is an enormous fan, her favourite is Jim, I had a t-shirt made with a picture of Jim as George IV (I think!) and she lays it beside her on the bed and talks to him, she's 7!

Squitten · 09/06/2012 11:11

Do you know GiantPuffball, there are moments when Simon does look quite yum. I think it's because he's so very tall....

Still Larry though :)

LiviaAugusta · 09/06/2012 11:17

The celtic historical fashion fix is my favourite sketch...

GiantPuffball · 09/06/2012 11:32

My favourite sketch is the airmen.

OhChristFENTON · 09/06/2012 11:34

I used to know Jim, - he worked in our office yonks ago in his holidays doing filing and stuff and he was very sweet and very very funny. Too much fun actually, I didn't get a lot of work done when he was around.

So he's my obvious favourite. Smile

piratecat · 09/06/2012 11:36

Jim Howick responded to a request for his autograph form me on behalf of dd a couple of yrs ago. Lovely letter to accompany it too. He's a lovely chap, dd wishes he were her dad!!

LisasCat · 09/06/2012 12:00

So now I'm going to be doing housework singing "Stupid deaths, stupid deaths, hope next time it's not you!" to myself, probably even doing the hand movements, and it's all your faults. Damn you.

CockyPants · 09/06/2012 12:02

Fwooooaaaaarrrrrr

CockyPants · 09/06/2012 12:03

Ode to HH men

Oh men of HH
I would if you would
Given half a chance..

NoPinkPlease · 09/06/2012 12:11

The HH men make me happy to own a telly (and pc for youtubing as necessary) Grin. Hurrah that dss(12) loves it and now ds(4) does too - years of not needing to explain why I'm watching unless I'm on my own

HeadfirstForHalos · 09/06/2012 12:41

EcoLady that is the video dreams are made of Grin. Last time it was on we rewound it several times to watch again for the children of course

weaselm4 · 09/06/2012 13:21

Oh lordy, Ben in the Luddites song swoon thud. He's totally at his best when looking all upper class and arrogant.
