"She's totally enjoying it" BBC

Umm not so sure of that based on her face.

DukeHumfrey · 03/06/2012 16:05

Kill the studio witterers!!! Off with their heads!

bronze · 03/06/2012 16:05

What did he do to Zoe salmon?

BellaOfTheBalls · 03/06/2012 16:06

The Queen looks great, good outfit choice! And Kate looks stunning.

DH is on his iPad grumping quietly under his breath about tax payers money. I told him he should go to work tomorrow if that's how he felt.

DukeHumfrey · 03/06/2012 16:06

And use their clothes to warm the queen up!

VictoriaWould · 03/06/2012 16:06

I want to see THE BOATS!

RabidAnchovy · 03/06/2012 16:06

Well, we went all the way to Battersea park just to realize that all it was was:

Portaloos on parade

Crowds of people.

Very few could even see the river. Half the crowd was disappointed and muttered stuff like "this sucks" and "how crap".

There was lots of viewing space on Albert Bridge (east of the park) but it was for vips I think, and there were meters of space between each person. The bridge was closed so impossible to get over to the other end to try and watch, but they were letting people through FROM Chelsea Embankment.

From all the stalls in the park, there were as far as I could see only ice cream vans, no hot food or drinks.

We left pretty soon and felt we had wasted both money and time coming. They had obviously sold WAY too many tickets.

Figgygal · 03/06/2012 16:06

Am i the only one who expected a convoy of big boats majestically cruising down the Thames and not a few little rowing boats?

enimmead · 03/06/2012 16:09

Looks crowded at the bridge.

jewelledsky · 03/06/2012 16:09

The Queen's barge looks like a very nice floating chinese restaurant I once dined upon.

CrispyCod · 03/06/2012 16:09

That's what I thought ledkr

LapisBlue · 03/06/2012 16:09

No, ledkr - I thought so, too.

RabidAnchovy · 03/06/2012 16:09

Is that the one by Regents park?

Sky News is on Freeview - channel 82.
Just switched over. Less good pictures but less dreadful wittering, so on balance better.

coffeeinbed · 03/06/2012 16:10

I'm so bored I'm buggering off to iron.
And whoever styled Sophie Raworth hair - you ought to hang your head in shame.

TheSurgeonsMate · 03/06/2012 16:10

There is a huge convoy of boats behind the towers!! The BBC can't see them for some reason

Sparklingbunting · 03/06/2012 16:11

yes, that's it jewelled, it looks a bit like flocked wallpaper. Grin

TheSurgeonsMate · 03/06/2012 16:11

Sorry, rowers. Not towers.
