Yes I'm going to whine about how cold and wet it's been forever!!!

I turned the heating off about 10days ago, had a lovely warm sunny few days and now I'm back in winter pjs and clothes, heating is on, beautiful summer clothes hanging up looking lovely.

It's still raining and 8oc! Brrrrrrrrr.

I'm tempted to wear all my summer clothes together, just to keep warm!

YABU - 10 days is a long British summer, we were lucky this year.

HRHcatgirl1976 · 03/06/2012 09:33

It looks like November out there.

You'd think the Queen would hold some sway in these matters.

captainmummy · 03/06/2012 09:34

Lit the logburner last night after a street party- just to warm up when it started raining.

Am in south east!

cupcake78 · 03/06/2012 09:35

You both have a very good point. 60yrs experience and she has failed me.

My expectations must be too high, I expected double figures.

YANBU. I'm in northern Ireland, and it's really cold. It's not raining which is a bonus, but we had to wrap up in coats and hats to go see the Olympic torch.

cupcake78 · 03/06/2012 09:39

I had winter coat hats, gloves etc yesterday for a wet walk. Had to get out the house. Ds has lived in his Wellies this year, good job he likes them Smile

here in the South it is sunny now. Everything washed clean after overnight rain. I just had a look at the Weather radar and it seems fairly dry south of Cambridge and Birmingham.

'Appen you should move Grin

AdventuresWithVoles · 03/06/2012 10:32

We had the heating on in June in .... 2000? or 2001? East Midlands.
Today I have 4 layers on instead.

Ephiny · 03/06/2012 10:36

In London here and it's 10 degrees and been raining steadily all morning. No need for heating on though, it's still warm indoors.

toofattorun · 03/06/2012 10:43

Am in huge dressing gown and under diver. I am frozen.

toofattorun · 03/06/2012 10:44

Duvet not diver. I wish.

rainydaysarebad · 03/06/2012 10:45

We have the heating on, and we're in the South East.

Empusa · 03/06/2012 11:19

YANBU

Also got the heating on and we're in the SE

I hate this weather, I was enjoying the heat!

Sparklingbunting · 03/06/2012 11:20

Ooh fab, we are allowed to put the heating on?? Grin

tyler80 · 03/06/2012 11:21

Any other year and the bank holiday weekend would have been last weekend when the weather was glorious. Queenie's ruined it by moving the date Grin

ItsaMissTerri · 03/06/2012 11:22

YANBU..... its ridiculous!!

CremeEggThief · 03/06/2012 11:58

Haven't quite resorted to the heating back on, but I am cuddling under a quilt on the sofa during the day, wearing my parka when I go out and my electric blanket has been on the last couple of nights and I put an extra duvet over the bed last night. I am also in the north east and I am very Envy to hear it's not 7-10°C everywhere.

Sparklingbunting · 03/06/2012 12:01

The local Lido opened for the summer yesterday. Sad

TheUnsinkableTitanic · 03/06/2012 12:03

can't wait for the bbq to be fired up for the extra heat lol :)

chezchaos · 03/06/2012 12:08
