Yes I'm going to whine about how cold and wet it's been forever!!!

I turned the heating off about 10days ago, had a lovely warm sunny few days and now I'm back in winter pjs and clothes, heating is on, beautiful summer clothes hanging up looking lovely.

It's still raining and 8oc! Brrrrrrrrr.

I'm tempted to wear all my summer clothes together, just to keep warm!

It's freezing here but I'm too tight to put the heating on.

I've made them all wear layers of warm clothing and move around more Grin

Dawndonna · 03/06/2012 12:17

10 degrees and bucketing in East Anglia. The fire has been on in the sitting room with the kids under duvets watching a film.

MissPricklePants · 03/06/2012 12:20

I'm in Yorkshire and it is really cold and miserable today. The heating is on! Need to go to the shop but its cold and rainy and I have no car so dd and I best get wrapped up!

Mrsjay · 03/06/2012 12:24

Changethatbulb · 03/06/2012 12:27

YANBU

9 degrees and pissing it down in Manchester. My bunting is soaked and weather beaten.

My fire wouldn't light this morning, so I had to put the heating on. Bah! The cost, the cost! Won't anybody think of the cost?

Sparklingbunting · 03/06/2012 12:31

DS1's mate has just texted to ask DS1 to go to said Lido. Confused

Your DS hasn't agreed, has he, Sparkling?

Sparklingbunting · 03/06/2012 12:53

He's thinking about it Creme. Confused

MavisGrind · 03/06/2012 12:58

Don't worry - I'm getting a woodburner fitted in about 2 weeks - weather is bound to improve then! Smile

cupcake78 · 03/06/2012 13:20

It's stopped raining Grin. We bought a bike rack after a dry week in march...it's rained ever since.

Here on the West Coast it is lovely and hot but beginning to cloud over. We have the best weather and that rarely happens. Usually here it rains sideways but, for the last week, it has been glorious.

carabos · 03/06/2012 13:31

Yorkshire. Cold, wet and we've had the heating on this morning. Definitely a duvet day.

TheresaMayHaveaBiscuit · 03/06/2012 13:39

I'm in Yorkshire - it's cold and wet :( (According to my weather app it's 9C but feels like 1C) Wearing a woolly cardi but very tempted to switch the fire on.

teanosugar · 03/06/2012 13:43

Freezing and wet in Cheshire, we've got fleeces on in house, DH says no to central heating as its June - think he'll give in later on !!!

MuddlingMackem · 03/06/2012 13:45

It's sunny and getting a bit warmer here, still need a jacket outside though. We're in the NE.

cupcake78 · 03/06/2012 13:59

So I need to go further north or quickly west Grin. Or sit wear more clothes (3 layers already) and drink tea.

Midlands here and Metcheck are predicting heavy sleet and a temp of zero feeling more like -5 tonight. Sad

Sparklingbunting · 03/06/2012 14:16

Worcestershire here moose. I don't want any of that ta. Shock

wigglybeezer · 03/06/2012 14:19

I stopped using my electric blanket for about one week only last summer! Have had the log fire lit this week and the heating onion the evening (draughty old house).

PigletJohn · 03/06/2012 17:10

pleasantly sunny, warm and dry on the South Coast today. Car was oppressively hot when we got back in it after lunch out.

I can see some clouds Up North, over Portsdown Hill.

OneWaySystemBlues · 03/06/2012 17:55

It is 8 degrees where I am, it has been pissing down with rain for the last 24 hours. I am on my sofa with chocolate, tea, book, blanket and heat pack. I am regretting having put my winter quilt away for the 'summer'.

neuroticmumof3 · 03/06/2012 19:40

I'm so relieved I'm not the only one with the heating on. I'm in Oxon and it's been drizzling and chilly all day. I'm very peeved with the weather as all my plans for the weekend involved being outside. Now I have nothing to do with DD4.

2old2beamum · 03/06/2012 19:47

Bloody freezing on the North Norfolk Coast. Have lit fire!!

marriedinwhite · 03/06/2012 19:53

Am in London and I was very pleased to put the heating on this morning. It was very chilly. Have been back from Battersea Park for about an hour. DH and I wore jerseys and kagoules. I wore my winter boots and was very glad of them. We thought about nipping into the local pub for a drink on the way home but changed our minds and went into our local Cafe for a nice warm coffee.

Really enjoyed the flotilla and the atmosphere though and it was worth it Grin
