I like a nature programme as much as the next person, but oh god he irritates me.

YANBU. Stewart Lee's imitations of him are hilarious.

Sparklingbrook · 10/05/2012 21:44

I don't mind him, but he is totally wrong for the show. He is no Kenyan wildlife expert is he?

captainmummy · 10/05/2012 21:45

Irritates me too- but not half as much as that woman. And WHY do they insist on naming all the animals? Dali the otter. Julliet the bear. Sophie the whatever and offspring can't-remember-their-names but it's ok, they don't know them either! (the animals i mean)

It's like trying to work out which cousins are which.

ShellyBobbs · 10/05/2012 21:45

He does blend in with the wildlife though.

BatmanLovesRobin · 10/05/2012 21:45

YANBU, That's all I need to say...

SauvignonBlanche · 10/05/2012 21:46

NO - YABU!
What would TOp Gear do without him?

captainmummy · 10/05/2012 21:46

It is obv not a David Attenborough production (Is it?)

KenDoddsDadsDog · 10/05/2012 21:46

He's all day wrong. Can't bear him.

crazynanna · 10/05/2012 21:47

To wish a lion would eat Richard Hammond?

Yes but it would still be hungry Grin

TheFarSide · 10/05/2012 21:47

YANBU - anyone from Top Gear does not deserve to have an all expenses paid wildlife trip courtesy of the taxpayer.

Mrsrobertduvall · 10/05/2012 21:48

It is so not David Attenborough.

Catsmamma · 10/05/2012 21:51

it's rubbish, and he has made it so!

I am gutted, I normally love all these wildlife thangs! I have taken it off the sky plus.

mosschops30 · 10/05/2012 21:52

YANBU he thinks hes very funny but really is very irritating

BumpingFuglies · 10/05/2012 21:52

Sorry, I love Richard Hammond. He's a dish. (For lions?)

Yeahthatsnotgonnahappen · 10/05/2012 21:54

I love nature programmes but want to beat him over the head with a hippo. What's with all the excessive "she's a single mom doing her best"? Feck off. He's ruining what would otherwise be a great programme.

captainmummy · 10/05/2012 21:54

I love RH too - and i think he is funny (but then i think James May is too)

NotThatClever · 10/05/2012 21:56

Dont mind Hammond, but the naming of the animals thing? When i was pregnant with ds now 5 there was something, wild cat diarys maybe with a baby cheetah? maybe a leopard anyway it was called Toto and it DIED a horrible death. I cried for 2 solid hours. this is why wild animals should never be named!

LentillyFart · 10/05/2012 21:57

Love RH. Love Love Love James May. I wouldn't wish anyone eaten by a lion - or any other animal - with the possible and reasonable exception of Russell Brand.

BumpingFuglies · 10/05/2012 22:00

I so would with Richard Hammond. If he was a bit taller Grin

Ya can keep James May, Lentilly. He's Lion-fodder.

LentillyFart · 10/05/2012 22:03

No no no Bumping - you are clearly confused and misguided! James May, like Boris Johnson, needs spanking with a silver backed hairbrush and smeared all over in marshmallow fluff.

I've said too much...........

Grin
ThatVikRinA22 · 10/05/2012 22:07
i went to see him in March. MN got a mention! i nearly "yayed" but it would have given me away Grin

and you are sooooo not being unreasonable. i cant stand him. and his eyes look like that mock up ad for drug driving. fact.

hiddenhome · 10/05/2012 22:09

I wish a lion would eat Jeremy Clarkson Hmm

dementedma · 10/05/2012 22:09

awww he's cute. little but cute!

spammertime · 10/05/2012 22:10

No, you are definitely NBU.

He is beyond annoying and the whole "cute" thing is just horrid really
