We love nature programmes but had to stop this in the first episode. Bloody disappointing. Will this starved, underfed, limping, lonely lion cub LIVE OR DIE?? Why not a you decide?!? Or maybe, can viewers write in and tell us which make and model of car should get new lion cub leather seats.

Spring watch is much better - they do veer towards anthropomorphism but they have proper expert presenters who know stuff so I can forgive a little cooing over fluffy chicks etc there.

Mind you I did like the fact they had good local experts on the RH show - the bear guy in Canada & the ranger/warden on safari.
