Good idea or bad?

I think, Chandelier, that men cleaning is not considered unusual on Mumsnet and calling three adults your 3 girls is both patronising and arrogant. Would love to see some from the Feministboards having a go at that.

Holidaymaker

Remove the reference to my properties which you mistakenly entered - one to avoid.

We have nothing to do with this thread.

Good evening everyone
May I please remind you all of our Talk guidelines
Thanks
M Towers

Holidaymaker yes, it was me who contacted the mysterious Steve, because you were slating his properties and you'd got the wrong person. So, pal, it's not me who's the twat, but you. Next time get your facts right and don't try to damage a business unfairly.

This is just something else that unfortunate owners have to put up with from disgruntled renters, it makes Tripadvisor look tame.

Freddie, who the actual Jeff do you think you're talking to? Your disgusting attitude on this thread has astounded me, tbh. I like a bit of argy bargy here myself, in the name of good debate - but ultimately, regardless of how successful you are, you really don't seem like a nice person. Sorry about that.

chandalier · 27/04/2012 20:10

Rose you are very annoying. My girls are girls--they are 16 years old. If I want to call them that, I shall!!

Do not tell me what I can and can't do, thank you.

Roseformeplease · 27/04/2012 20:26

"My girls" - This is the 21st century, you sound like an 18th century slave owner. Always worth reading things through before hitting "post message".

chandalier · 28/04/2012 00:13

Do you speak to your holiday house guests like this Rose? :)

It seems to come so naturally to you, tut tut.

ModernToss · 28/04/2012 07:30

I hope 'chandalier' is a pun rather than a misspelling.

Personally I wouldn't stay in a property owned by either chandalier or FreddieFly; they both sound ghastly.

margaritaaPracatan · 28/04/2012 08:08

I think it's how she thinks it's spelt. Bless.

Am starting to feel that this place is not a very nice place to hang out. Not normally cowed by bullies but feeling attacked, patronised and for what? For defending customers and trying to show that not all those who rent out cottages think so little of their customers. I had a look at this other forum and was delighted to find that there are loads of reasonable, non-deposit retaining people lovers who are neither misogynistic nor cruel. Thanks to the wonderful Mumsnetters on here who have been so supportive.

Good idea. There are some on there who might not like the terrible impression being given of the industry by a few bad apples.
