Samantha is the one making assumptions about other women and maybe this is why she assumes women judge her.(ie she only judges other women on their looks).
She looks quite nervous actually and Im wondering if what started as a silly DM article has turned round a bit her on the bum and she is now trying to make the best of it.
That photo of her and Mr Brickolage - the gun toting DH makes me chuckle every time I think about it !

The trouble is, if someone walks into a room believing that all the women will hate them and all the men will be attracted to them, that comes across to everyone and gives a negative impression to them.

And if you are told that it is not the case and you sit there and insist "well it is in my experience" then you will get a negative reaction.

The psychologist is right, that is an attitude that Samantha needs to change if this is a big problem in her life. Because she is the one who is making it.

yes the DM has far too much influence on society, and the misuse of their power is blatantly immoral.

But I still think that if there wasn't the potential in society for this misogynistic rubbish, for the DM to feed and encourage, then the DM would have slipped away into obscurity.

I am disappointed to see so many comments in this thread about how this women looks. For me, that is missing the point. The point is her unattractive ego, which I suspect is hiding insecurity and a desperate need for approval. Oh and a desperate need for money (to pay for IVF in a private french clinic perhaps? She has spoken before about her difficulties getting pregnant).

So stuff has happened to her half a dozen times in her 41 years, from which she extrapolates that most women don't like her because of how she looks, but there are these shades of shades of grey, and the article which she wrote had to be kept short, but half of women contacting her say she has put into words how they feel, and she lives in France and only sees two cars go by a day if she is lucky, and she believes the perception that she is beautiful.

Not a piss take, then, just a confused woman wanting to be a journalist and being prepared to write any old shit that the Daily Mail will print, even when it cannot actually be true.
