Putting it here because you will all see it.
MNHQ can move it later if they want.

I have only gone and signed up for this
www.teenagecancertrust.org/get-involved/as-a-fundraiser/treks-and-challenges/bupa-10000/

If you all know I will have to do it.

Bloody nora.
I only made it to week 2 of that couch to 5k challenge Blush

Make me do it.
Shame me into training and stuff.
If the nest of vipers that is MN cant make me, nothing can.

I cant give blood this year because of bloody stupid frickin anemia (Im not now but you have to wait a year) so I thought I should do something.

I am now officially scared.

Yep, I will sponsor you too Grin

Good for you MrsDV. Fantastic thing to do.

Can We pleeeease come along to cheer you on, and meet you at the finish line?

ImperialBlether · 18/03/2012 00:16

I'll sponsor you, too. Now get to bed so that you can be up at 7 for a good run.

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 18/03/2012 10:31

Hahahahahahahaha @ getting up for a run at 7am Grin

Oh wait was that not a joke [worried]

I did a full 30 mins on the bike today and most of that was with a HUGE toddler on my lap.

I think I need to warn you that my training schedule is unlikely to be conventional. It WILL work though because there is no way I am going to look like no fewl when I cross that finish line last

I would love the whole of mumnset to be there. Can you imagine?
The punch ups, the piss ups, women giving birth right their in St Jame's Park.

It would be epic Grin

Right now off to do something very sad. I have to move all my stuff from mine and Billie's car into my new one before my lovely old girl is towed away.

OH tells me she is going to live in a special old car's home but I am not so sure Sad
He wouldnt let me bury her in the garden.

Yes Maryz I am taking my iron and it has gone up.

And I had breakfast this morning.

See - I am already acting like some sort of olympian.

catgirl1976 · 18/03/2012 10:33

You can do it Mrs DV :)

I will sponsor you too - put your link up when it's ready x

worzelswife · 18/03/2012 10:46

Good luck! Go for it. It looks terrifying but I'm sure you can do it.

I know you are doing it for your darling dd but if maybe just one of your feet can do it for the fabulous Nicole that would be amazing. She totally inspired me and I miss reading her blog so much.

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 18/03/2012 11:11

Just checking in to report I had eaten a banana (this is part of my training I assure you) and I saw your post worzel Sad

Of course. I remember Nicole but I was not aware of her passing. I used to see her on the news and be astounded at her bravery and grace.

She is one of the children/young people I keep in my heart. There are hundreds that I have never met but they are still there.

I will be running for all of them.

Thank you so much

cocoachannel · 18/03/2012 19:29

See you there!

I'm running it for the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust.

Good luck with the training. As I still haven't completed coach to five km, I'll be the one at the back!

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 18/03/2012 19:48

Hey fellow runner!
I only got to week two of the bloody c25k so I will be behind you!
I am aiming to try harder now though.
Cant let everyone down now can I?

Are you as scared as I am?

OP posts:
cocoachannel · 18/03/2012 19:57

Very scared! I've signed up for these things before and ended up walking most of the way, and I'm determined this will be the one I run, especially as I don't want to let the EPT down.

MissBetsyTrotwood · 18/03/2012 20:02

Done.

Sponsoring that is, not the actual running bit. That's all for you. Wink

peggyblackett · 18/03/2012 20:25

Done, and bump :)

MilkNoSugarAndAShotofWhisky · 18/03/2012 20:29

Good luck! X

ReindeerBollocks · 18/03/2012 20:30

Haha, people have sponsored you now so you'll have to do it - or else you'll have to deal with the wrath of MN Grin

Just make sure you have the right size trainers ( unlike this numpty I know who bought her shoes the day before the run - only for them to be too small and her feet were ruined by the end of the run how fucking stupid was I).

Portofino · 18/03/2012 20:30

I too will sponsor you MrsD. Good on you for trying to do something.

Portofino · 18/03/2012 20:34

Sent myself a link for payday....
