Putting it here because you will all see it.
MNHQ can move it later if they want.

I have only gone and signed up for this
www.teenagecancertrust.org/get-involved/as-a-fundraiser/treks-and-challenges/bupa-10000/

If you all know I will have to do it.

Bloody nora.
I only made it to week 2 of that couch to 5k challenge Blush

Make me do it.
Shame me into training and stuff.
If the nest of vipers that is MN cant make me, nothing can.

I cant give blood this year because of bloody stupid frickin anemia (Im not now but you have to wait a year) so I thought I should do something.

I am now officially scared.

Did my run this morning after dropping off DS2 at the school bus!

I am trying to get to run 5min walk 1min cos I reckon that will get me round 10k even if I dont manage to run the whole thing in one go.

Although I promise that is what I am trying for. I am just getting a bit of a wibble so dont want to put myself off.

Onwards .......!

I'm still very impressed that you even considered the idea Mrs DV. I'm more a cake bake to save the planet sort of person.
Even exit stage left pursued by a bear scenario is unlikely. I'd probably feed it a child and walk away. Grin
Bump for the Amazonian Mrs DeVere!

LineRunner · 17/04/2012 12:47

I'm the sort of person who would pay a tenner to avoid having to attend a fund-raising event. Mind you, that's because the last one I went to, the chap I went with ate the raffle prize (rather nice basket of fruit) because he thought it was part of the buffet.

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 17/04/2012 13:28

Well done on your training this week MrsDe!!! It's so wonderful that you have raised so much. I think run 5 min walk a min is great going, that will get you round in no time! I'm excited for you, will your family come and cheer you on?

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 17/04/2012 22:54

OP posts:
Cherriesarelovely · 17/04/2012 23:03

Oh yes, it will be great. I have some friends who always run /walk races and they say they get round faster and more comfortably than when they only run?! Plus you know we will all be thinking of you willing you on! x

LineRunner · 18/04/2012 17:57
