Uh-oh.... dangerdanger. Perhaps you should incorporate fetching said Big Mac into your running route so you don't end up spending a fortune on clothes the next size up. Wink

GrittersWifeAndProud · 14/03/2012 12:55

Well, when I say walking distance, I mean about a mile and a half-ish. It's right opposite tesco.

I've just found out, the 'M' has gone up! Even before the walls!

I love McDonalds! So glad we don't have one round here.

Pandemoniaa · 14/03/2012 15:53

Round here we tend to celebrate when McDonalds realise there's no point in having any sort of presence.

BrianCoxHasScaryHair · 14/03/2012 15:55

I live in a big town.

Within 3 miles of my house, there are:

3 KFC's
1 Burger King
6 McD's
and a partridge in a pear tree

You're excitement is quite lovely Wink

BrianCoxHasScaryHair · 14/03/2012 15:56

*your

whackamole · 14/03/2012 16:13

I have one within a mile. Hence, the need for bigger clothes Grin

Sirzy · 14/03/2012 16:15

My local McDonald's is about half a mile away. I am quite happy to say I have never set foot inside it. shame the same cant be said for the KFC opposite

ripsishere · 14/03/2012 16:16

Pandemonia I find that hard to believe. I've seen the golden arches in places as diverse as Rome, Vietnam and Manchester.
I did see a programme about Rochdale. MacD's have pulled out of there due to a lack of consumer cash.

WorraLiberty · 14/03/2012 16:18

Bugger! Now I really want a Big Mac for dinner Sad

ABatInBunkFive · 14/03/2012 16:20

I find i always want one way more than i actually enjoy one, though i was rather addicted to the drifter mcflurry omnom

ViviPru · 14/03/2012 16:21

Mine's a large Filet meal with Sprite and sweet and sour sauce please.

WorraLiberty · 14/03/2012 16:21

Ours is about a mile away and quite a pleasant walk

Trouble is, by the time I've walked home I'm hungry again and could eat another one!

LydiaWickham · 14/03/2012 16:26

We've got a MaccyDs, I've not been in it yet, however if a KFC were to open, I'd go up a dress size. I think it's now nearly 3 years since I had a McDonalds. Although I conceed their chips are fabulous.

catgirl1976 · 14/03/2012 16:26

The only chain thing we have is a Pizza Express

which is probably a good thing as the baby weight is lingering as it is and needs no help from those amazing big tastys with 2,700 calories in them mmmmmmmm

susiedaisy · 14/03/2012 16:29

God I'm so bored with , I want a kfc in our townAngry

susiedaisy · 14/03/2012 16:30

With macdonalds!!

GrittersWifeAndProud · 14/03/2012 18:59

There's a rumour flying around town that we're getting a KFC too!

Mrsrobertduvall · 14/03/2012 19:00

I have never been in one...we have one a ten minute walk away.

SoozyWoozy · 14/03/2012 19:05

I quite liked them... until I found out how it was all made. Totally grossed me out and now I won't even go in one.

FizzyLaces · 14/03/2012 19:09

My pal lives on an island and the first thing they do when they get on the mainland is have McD's/KFC/BK. We don't like it in our house (in a city).

Al0uise · 14/03/2012 19:11

Just hope that you're never downwind of it, the stench is overpowering and vile. Something about mechanically recovered "meat" being washed in ammonia.

Kayano · 14/03/2012 19:14

I worked in McDonald's as a teenager and my dad
Owned a
Sweet shop.

I still suffer with this and am a fatty mcfatbag

Kayano · 14/03/2012 19:15

And the only thing better than McDonald's is...

McDonald's BREAKFAST

Sausage and egg
Mcmuffin! Ummmmmmm
