To ask other mums on MN not to use the F word?

I am a newbie. I find that F word is peppered in a lot of the threads. I used to swear a lot but I have stopped completely because I realize it's common, and makes a woman sound undignified. Is it too much, ladies, to ask you not to use F-ing thsi and F-ing that? Can't we adults discuss things without resorting to sailor language? Thank you.

Maybe there should be some sort of scale of severity for words too, or a rating system. Like if 1 were the worst/ strongest/ best expletive and going down to 10 or more meant the word was not as expressive or not as 'offensive' - where would you rate words like fuck, cunt and wank - deffo top 3, whereas piss or shit would be lower.

Maybe that could be matched to how common the person is, according to what the OP thinks?!
