Yabu mine covered my roots fabulously when pregnant

nobodyspecial · 22/02/2012 17:12

Sparklingbrook · 22/02/2012 17:16

Not sure which ones you mean but I don't get the baby ones that seem to be a piece of elastic with a flower on. Confused

TheCunningStunt · 22/02/2012 17:17

YANBU ...it's like hair bands on babies....when they have no hair?!! I don't get it.

EauDeLaPoisson · 22/02/2012 17:17

Similar to those sparkling but with a bow instead of a flower

Safmellow · 22/02/2012 17:18

Urgh reminds me of whatshername in Harry Potter...the evil one who looks like a toad

Safmellow · 22/02/2012 17:18

Umbridge? :)

Sparklingbrook · 22/02/2012 17:19

High five to Cunning re babies. Grin

Oh, I know what you mean now Eau. YANBU I think it's a teenage thing isn't it?

EauDeLaPoisson · 22/02/2012 17:20

Yep. They shouldn't be seen on women in their 40's

OP posts:
Sparklingbrook · 22/02/2012 17:21

Check this scary lot out Cunning

OOh Eau is it all the rage for all ages in your town? Sad

ClothesOfSand · 22/02/2012 17:24

Can we have a link to the grown up hairband? I've not seen one.

Feminine · 22/02/2012 17:24

I have very , long hair.

I wear flowers (on elastic) sometimes in my hair bun...that Ok? Wink

Feminine · 22/02/2012 17:24

oh and I am 40!

ClothesOfSand · 22/02/2012 17:24

I think they are lovely, Feminine.

Feminine · 22/02/2012 17:25

Thanks Clothes :)

Sparklingbrook · 22/02/2012 17:27

Some here

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 22/02/2012 17:28

ummm yabu cos I love a scarf tied into a knot over my hair when I can't be bothered straightening it , bit like what I wore in the 80's so I am VV OLD !!

startail · 22/02/2012 17:30

Hair bands, yes occasionally because my hair has get on my nerves days.
Bows and flowers I leave to the DDs accept for Weddings.

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 22/02/2012 17:33

I wore a tied up scarf the other day with my jeans and a teeshirt when we were decorating, all hair tucked up at the back and a bow tied to one side, DH said it looked sexy Hmm so can't be that ridiculous

OriginalJamie · 22/02/2012 17:36

StepAway. Aaaw - it's lovely that you DH thinks you look sexy. I'm sure you do. However, but DH thinks I look sexy in a wincyette nightie, so it's not always the best way to judge ... Grin

Sparklingbrook · 22/02/2012 17:37

Reminds me of this

OriginalJamie · 22/02/2012 17:37

Cunning - I think it's because it would be a fate worse than death for someone to mistake your girl baby for a boy baby

alessthandomesticgoddess · 22/02/2012 17:38

Zooey Deschanel pulls them off well. She is a grown woman.

JambalayaCodfishPie · 22/02/2012 17:38

Yabu. But I'm 26 and don't consider myself a grown woman yet. Grin

Also, I have a pixie crop and my headbands all look lovely. I don't have elastic ones though because they slide off my funny shaped head.

Oh and baby headbands are wierd. I can tell its a girl because she's wearing a tutu and has her ears pierced, I don't need to see the headband too! Grin

shesparkles · 22/02/2012 17:39

They should be banned on anyone older than 15.....I work on the basis that if it looks good on my 14 year old dd, then it's not something I should even think about
