YANBU -- they are fine for flighty young 20somethings and younger but not for work or for anyone over 25. There is something about them that says 'art nouveau flower faerie'.

Blimey it's a good job I had two boys. I had no idea if you had a girl baby you needed to superglue a bow to her head in case someone mistook her for a boy. Shock

Im quite happy for people to call either of my DDs he if it means I haven't bought a stupid thing for their heads. Though TBH I bet some people still ask if its a boy or girl even when baby is wearing a bow or headband

Sparklingbrook · 22/02/2012 20:57

maybe boy babies could have a glue on head football sticker, or a truck. That would make everything clear. Grin

2ombie5layer · 22/02/2012 20:58

no sparkling people will still ask or get it wrong Grin

Oh I like head scarf things. I don't wear them because I can't put them on properly. As for babies I'd never put my dd in a headband.

Sparkling - it's the short hair. Even though most babies have short hair. But I think those bows really emphasise the baldness of some babies.
