DH puts his little finger in his ear and then waggles it furiously.

It revolts me.

I would quite happily defenestrate him if i could get him close enough to an upstairs window.

I use a hair grip.

It's lovely.

If while you're giving it large with your little finger you can muster a grebber that is the right frequency as your waggling finger.
It's magical.

And those of you who ear wank with foreign bodies - beware!
I once had an elderly client who had to have a head xray (I forget why). Very clearly on the xray, was the perfect image of a safety pin. It had found ti's way right down into his ear canal, never to be seen again.

Yes. I'm a bit Scottish! there is something exquisite about scratching an ear hole itch!

I do this sometimes, but only when they itch or my tinnitus gets really loud. Most of the time it's at a manageable level, but sometimes it's too loud. Right this minute it's not too bad. It's there, but not intruding too much. Sometimes it feels so loud I miss out in conversations by only hearing certain people. I don't recommend tinnitus, it isn't nice. I've got used to it now, having had it for ten years. Harumph.

Don't mind doing it to myself if I have an earitch and I just Iurrve the cotton bud experience, but DH deliberately licks his finger & then waggles it in MY ear. It drives me mental, the pervert.

I do it too, nothing beats it especially when combined with the throat-scratchy roar ggirl mentioned. Utter bliss.

No it's don't put anything in your ear except your elbow. So basically nothing.

I often stick my crochet hook in my ear and give it a wiggle. Its lovely.

I sometimes use me finger nails to remove DD(6)s earwax, it must be relaxing for her as she cant keep her eyes open and falls asleep everytime within minutes. I remember when she was a baby and had trouble sleeping, a gentle tickle of the inside of her ear and she was out for the count.

CuriousMama, whoever said that, has definitely never had ear hole eczema or an ear infection! There are times when you just HAVE TO!

Reeling, a relative of mine once inherited a car from an old guy who had a crusty head. He was fishing out scabs from the upholstery for months!

DP will stick anything he can in his ear, pen lids, coat hanger hooks, anything...he is an idiot

Hedley, have you ever tried taking ginkgo biloba, I've heard that it can ease tinnitus.

sorry but I do this too as I get excema (?) in my ear - people probably think I'm picking at my ear wax but meh.

I have to ear-waggle occasionally when there's an itch somewhere in my head. Usually accompanied by the throat-cluck too.

I agree you shouldn't put small stuff in your ears though, including cotton buds.

If you have an ear-waggle and then end up with a bit of wax on your finger that you don't want, offer it to the nearest cat. They. Love. It. I've never met a cat who didn't love to lick ear wax.

Have never wanked my ear-hole. Always leave the building when someone does it. It is in the TOP TEN most disgusting things IMO.
