My sons name is not ken

To think the teacher should know my sons name by now

Son was chatting in class fair dues so at the end of the lesson son walks out of class teacher runs down the corridor shouting ken ken get back here now son ignores teacher she shouting ken get back here

My sons name is not ken

So ken comes running out the loo sorry miss she looks confused the continues after my son and asks him why he didn't answer

Well he's not ken for a start

The thing that pissed me off is she phoned to tell me what happened well what dose she want his name is not ken so why would she be expecting a reply and he got a 15 minute detention I suspect by then its was more to do with her feeling like a fool thank the talking

She was probably tired and just got confused. My sons teacher gets his and his best friends name mixed up. Its no bother, they find it hilarious as 4 year olds do.

If shes a secondary school teacher she'll have a LOT of names to remember.

I doubt its secondary, something about Ken coming out of the loos made me think primary age to me!

So did she say what she gave him the detention for? And presumably ken your son told you the ken bit, not her?

No not at all Even close his name starts with a p also my son says ken has one eye so he quite well know.

They don't even sit together Confused

I just think the punishment was for her feeling like a fool rather than the cit chat

Teachers shouldn't give out detention on the grounds that a child isn't Ken. Rule number one.

Ah, but the point isn't about being called Ken, is it? it's about the fact that he was cheeky & she was trying to call him back (which was pretty obvious if he was paying half attention).

I really think you should let school handle this, he knew he was disrespecting her.

No my son is called Phillip and no she rang me to tell me which I found a bit strange I don't think it warranted a phone call home tp be fair

She ened the call with well he talks far to much in class could you tell him to be quite in my class, I said I will but fell fee to tell him to shut up yourself.

The whole thing has just been a bit odd
