To think the teacher should know my sons name by now

Son was chatting in class fair dues so at the end of the lesson son walks out of class teacher runs down the corridor shouting ken ken get back here now son ignores teacher she shouting ken get back here

My sons name is not ken

So ken comes running out the loo sorry miss she looks confused the continues after my son and asks him why he didn't answer

Well he's not ken for a start

The thing that pissed me off is she phoned to tell me what happened well what dose she want his name is not ken so why would she be expecting a reply and he got a 15 minute detention I suspect by then its was more to do with her feeling like a fool thank the talking

This thread has cheered me up no end.

My grandpas were Earnest (I wanted to use this for DS but DH vetoed it) and Edward.

Grin what a thread, you couldn't hae made it up!

I've really struggled with it as have a chronic sinus infection and laughing really really hurts!

Derek - there's another name no one uses now and Neil - I went to school with both of those and they both had snotty noses

My Grandad was called James, his middle name was Henry but he was always known as Harry Confused apparently, back then, Harry was short for Henry Hmm BUT HE WAS CALLED JAMES!!! DS is called James (middle name Eadric, so a little unusual)

dh is a Teacher, he is terrible with names, really bad - he is secondary so has a lot to remember, most kids he teaches are given a completely random nickname instead, which, bizarrely he remembers all of those Xmas Confused and the kids love it - they usually agree on some name together and that's it Xmas Grin

My name is Rachael and an old boyfriend and his friend used to joke and call me Raquel The Stripper (no not for any real reason!!) BF friends mum always thought I was called Raquel - and if I see her now, 18 years ion, she still believes that to be my name, even though whenever she called me it we would all fall about on the floor in hysterics
