Don't lose heart, maybe it'll get deleted tomorrow morning.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

JjandtheBeanplusPud · 01/11/2011 22:12

Thank you for taking my whining seriously.

--any tips?--

fluffywhitekittens · 01/11/2011 22:14

Ahh yes I spotted your post earlier, would you like me to report it? Wink

worraliberty · 01/11/2011 22:15

If you get a thread/post deleted, do MNHQ send you an email or a PM?

I've lost the log in details to my email address and I'd love to read through all my deleted posts Blush

Well, perhaps you could just jump in with both feet and accuse a well-known, well-loved MNer of being a troll? That should put the cat amongst the pigeons. Grin

Then you could maybe post something utterly and dangerously libellous - start a rumour about a government minister having a predilection for sex with farm animals or vegetables, for instance.

Posting something totally fictional and potentially damaging about a major company (try Coca-Cola or McDonald's - they don't take kindly to smear campaigns) - eg. "did you know that all .......... burgers contain at least 50% floor sweepings?" or "all carbonated drinks made by ........ have plutonium in them?

I would imagine your posts would be whisked away into the ether before you can say Terry Wogan's Cock - and your status as a feisty, close-to-the-knuckle MN warrior will be confirmed Wink

Either that or you'll get accused of being a troll...

JjandtheBeanplusPud · 01/11/2011 22:19

Fluffy yes yes yes!!! I will call you a cunt for doing it of course Wink

OP posts:
fluffywhitekittens · 01/11/2011 22:20

Just you wait

JjandtheBeanplusPud · 01/11/2011 22:21

Talc, thank you. I shall do that.

I won't get banned from mumsnet will I? a ban from facebook upset me enough, mumsnet would kill me...

OP posts:
bibbitybobbitybloodyaxe · 01/11/2011 22:21

Gah, its no big deal. I have had a thread deleted but it had nothing whatsoever to do with what I posted - it was deleted because of posts from other posters.

fluffywhitekittens · 01/11/2011 22:22

Right I know feel like Miss sneaky telltale but have done just for you.
Mwah.

JjandtheBeanplusPud · 01/11/2011 22:25

Now I'm panicing, I posted a totally stupid inflamatory thread, but I love mumsnet!!!

Shit

Haha

This is what pregnancy does to me.

TalcAndTurnips · 01/11/2011 22:26

Well there'd be nothing like being banned for raising your MN profile! The news would spread through town faster than a case of the shits.

But then you wouldn't be able to come and revel in your new devil-may-care fame. You'd be relegated to being the poor kid pressing his nose against the sweety shop window - gazing at the delights within, but unable to sate your ravening hunger...

JjandtheBeanplusPud · 01/11/2011 22:27

I got banned from nethuns too, that's when I found mumsnet.

I believe it was because I said someone was stupid. Bless.

grinningbee · 01/11/2011 22:28

Feel better now? Wink

A post and a thread in one night!

and FYI as much as we do look out for posts that break our guidelines, the best way for us to see anything is to report it to us.
