FWIW (given my short time here, after lots of research on the previous 1300 pages of AIBU threads) I don't think that it's big or clever to have a post deleted.

I also don't think it makes you any more of a Mumsnetter.

Most of the MN'ers I respect and recognise are those who get a point across without being mean or derogitory (*sp)

Took me years to get deleted. I got deleted on mumsnet for calling someone silly!

I got my own back a bit later by PM'ng MNHQ because the OP had snuck in a 'silly' in a response to something I had said. Fairs fair.

I got banned from nethuns for 'posting in a sarcastic manner, using the term ' a load of toss' and misuse of the ignore poster function'

I have not had anything deleted yet, either - but then I'm a fairly boring mild-mannered, uncontroversial sort of poster.

Mind you, I never received a detention at school, either - cut me in half and it says Girly Swot all the way through.
