If it's a site 'By parents for parents', isn't Mumsnet a little sexist? We've all seen how members here react to any sort of anti women agenda so is this seen as acceptable because it's anti dads?

It's not whiny. I'm not on Netmums. I have nothing against this site in particular, but when you see the ricockulousness of some of the feminist threads, this seemed a valid point, one I stand by.

I also don't think it's anti-dad - most of the members are women and they are not likely to post new threads saying how wonderful DH or DP is generally or has been today. Nor should they unless they want to.

The site doesn't claim to include non parents. It goes out of its way to tell you it's for parents.

So the basis of your whine is you don't like some of the feminist threads. Don't read them, then.
Go and set up your own site for dads. See how far that gets you.

Parentsnet conjures up images of couples sitting together on the settee agreeing what to say before posting. Not for me.

the site is aimed at mums, if someone wants to set a site up for dads then thats ok but there is nothing wrong in something being aimed at mums but welcoming everyone in surely?

I like to think I helped make Dadsnet happen. My work was not in vain.

Lets go the whole hog and call it Parents/GuardiansorSignificantAdultsNet.
