Had to cancel all my plans for the weekend. And why?
He has caught a tummy bug and is vomiting constantly.
I have had enough.

WhoAteMySnickers · 17/06/2011 14:49

Wow, YABVU.

ComeWhineWithMe · 17/06/2011 14:49

is this a joke?

Itsjustafleshwound · 17/06/2011 14:49

Eh??

Unless I am missing something, nothing that a box of Alka Seltzer can't cure and why are you cancelling your plans??

Sorry, perhaps I am missing something ...

mrsruffallo · 17/06/2011 14:49

It'sone thing after another.

OP posts:
onebigchocolatemess · 17/06/2011 14:49

what did he do all the other times?

KurriKurri · 17/06/2011 14:50
Confused
CrapolaDeVille · 17/06/2011 14:50

Oh dear....Was this a well planned special weekend ruined?

Obviously YABVU, but understandable.

thekidsmom · 17/06/2011 14:50

Unless there's more to it, I'd say 'give the guy a break'...

mrsruffallo · 17/06/2011 14:51

Apparently he can't keep anything down Hmmso tablets no good

OP posts:
hiddenhome · 17/06/2011 14:51

Buy him some domperidone and 100 Actimel drinks Wink

BooyHoo · 17/06/2011 14:51

did he do it deliberatley? Confused

AuntieMonica · 17/06/2011 14:51

yes, all people who catch bugs on purpose should be shot and then fed to the sharks Hmm

YABU, your DH has bad timing for sure, but come on...........

Mabelface · 17/06/2011 14:51

It's hardly his fault he's ill, but it must be frustrating if you had plans.

pommedechocolat · 17/06/2011 14:51

I think YAB a bit U but I kinda understand. My dh seems to always be ill with something or another and I get fed up of being the one having to take all the slack.
I'd have more sympathy if he'd ever go to the damn doctor but he never does so in my eyes is doing nothing to help himself.

TanteRose · 17/06/2011 14:53

Can you trade him in for someone healthy?

dadof2ofthem · 17/06/2011 14:53

my wife gets irritated by me when i'm sick, sometimes it would be easier to be sick alone than with her around .

Malgosia · 17/06/2011 14:53

He should leave you.

BootyMum · 17/06/2011 14:56

That's because men always make such a drama out of it!
Well my DH does at least. Has to lie on the couch pitifully asking for drinks and paracetamol, football on tv.

I feel like I never get the opportunity to be sick because he always is!
With Man Flu!

BitOfFun · 17/06/2011 14:56

Malgosia Hmm

I wouldnt cancel anything- he'll perk up.

SuePurblybilt · 17/06/2011 14:56

I have a teeny bit of empathy with the OP, I hate sick people. Other than my DD, when I'm around people feeling poorly I turn into a horrid Captain Mainwearin type and want to tell them to pull themselves together. They bug me. It's not a nice trait, I'm aware of that Grin.

But OP, your title sounds as if you have more issues than being pissed off at Man Flu.

mrsruffallo · 17/06/2011 14:56

Thanks for your understanding. We had tickets for something, a birthday present for him from SIL.
Now we can't go Sad

OP posts:
GreenTeapot · 17/06/2011 14:57

OP this is abusive behaviour and it will get worse. Make no mistake, this man is a terrible role model for your children. Do you want them to grow up thinking it's ok to have viruses? Leave him now! Be brave. We're here for you.

SuePurblybilt · 17/06/2011 14:57

Cannot type .

Malgosia · 17/06/2011 14:57

Just reversing the usual MN meme, BitOfFun.

buzzsore · 17/06/2011 14:58

Go without him, take a friend.
