AIBU To love Phineas and Ferb?

On the back of hatred for GIMP (HAHA) is it so bad I love this programme?

Dunno what it is but thought this was going to be a baby name thread and was coming on to disingenously say I love Ferb.

Dh and Ds went to see bowling for soup who sing the theme tune recently. It was an acoustic set but they said they were brilliant

Discovering something that doesn't exist......or giving a monkey a shower! Love it. It's one of the few programmes we watch as a family. Our 3 yr old dd, 'Muuuuuum, phineas and ferb are making a title sequence!' She sings 'little brothers, cos your younger, we're related and your booooys' to the baby.

I LOVE Phineas and Ferb- pure class!! (Plus Candace is sooo like my preteen trying to grass up her younger brother!!)

Love love LOVE it! "In the city of looooove..." Gotta love Isabella. She's so sweet and madly in love with Phineas. Every time I catch Love Actually and see the little boy Sam I think "Hey you're Ferb and Joanna your love interest is Candaces singing voice any chance of Liam Neeson having a role too?" :o

YANBU- another P+F fan here. One of the few cartoons my dc watch that doesn't have an OTT moral message, genuinely funny and the characters are ace! Even the bully is shown as having a softer side.

The songs are fab- we got the dc the CD at Christmas, makes me chuckle to hear them singing "Not that bad a dad after all" to DH

Hi, first-time poster here! I've been uhming and aaahing for some time and seeing all these comments from fellow Phineas and Ferb fans has made me finally take the plunge! It's a brilliant cartoon and the songs are indeed fab - I almost downloaded "In the city of love" as my ringtone but luckily pulled myself together at the last minute!

Yes, I came across a couple of websites where it said you could have the song sent as a ringtone when I googled "phineas and ferb city of love" just to see if it came up with anything - I must have been very bored that night! I've had another quick look just now but when you try to download it just says "your country is not supported" so maybe it's not possible after all. Mind you I'm not very technically-minded about things like this!

I dd got the cd for christmas too. I love it!

It's very clever. DD and I secretly call DS1 and DS2 Phineas and Ferb.

For ages I thought it said "semi aquatic eight legged mammal" instead of egg laying. Durrr.
They also referred to Candace as "semi erotic" in one episode!

We really like Phineas and Ferb too, it's nice to have something that we actually enjoy as a family, rather than yet another thing to blacklist (there are an ever increasing number of programs that are banned from being watched when dh and I are in the room). I'm wondering what GIMP is though

DD 3.11 has just discovered this cartoon and I LOVE IT!! Finally a cartoon I like to watch as well!
