On the back of hatred for GIMP (HAHA) is it so bad I love this programme?

YANBU :)

FoofffyShmoofffer · 05/06/2011 10:29

Love it in our house too. The language is fab.

It was on in the background a few weeks ago. My sis who had never seen it before suddenly stopped speaking and said " Did that guy just say 'retrospectively'?"

It was Prof Doofenshmirtz.

TrinityIsAShreddingFatRhino · 05/06/2011 10:32

dd1 and gecko love it too
sooo funny and poor candace

ratspeaker · 05/06/2011 11:35

Some days I feel realy sorry for poor Candace

I bought DS1 the Fishing for Woos CD as part of his birthday, got it through the BFS site when they had some autographed copies

whosthatlady · 05/06/2011 11:45

Ooooh thank you for that, L8rAllig8r, I'll give it a go! As I said I'm not very good at things like this, I'm a bit of a "mature mum" and only discovered YouTube thanks to my kids!

McPie · 05/06/2011 12:50

YA So NBU. I love them, as do the kids. The room goes quiet when its put on and twins (4) do a lot of character roll play and they like pretending to build things. I cant stand Spongebob though as its just stupid IMO and refuse to have it on when Im in the room.

whosthatlady · 05/06/2011 12:59

Sorry, didn't mean to imply earlier that all older mums aren't good with technology - only this one!
Love Prof Doofenshmirtz, always end up feeling a little sorry for him - curse you, Perry the Platypussssss!!

discobeaver · 05/06/2011 13:25

But prof D needs Perry - he gets another nemesis (peter the Panda) but realises he can't be without Perry. It's quite quite moving.
Do they really get "104 days of summer vacation" though? That's a long holiday.

DharmaLovesGreg · 05/06/2011 13:33

We love it in this house too - we have 52 episodes on series link Grin

I watch it even if the kids have left the room Blush

FlamingFannyDrawers · 05/06/2011 13:33

I love it too, i watch it even if the kids are out. Also love Ed, Edd and Eddy and Fairly Odd Parents.

RipMacWinkle · 05/06/2011 13:42

Love it

My favourite tune is the Evil Love one where the Prof finds true love and then loses it when she gets zapped by his invention.

Brilliant stuff.

pinkhebe · 05/06/2011 13:47

we named our kitten Perry, after the platypuss. we do say 'curse you Perry the platypuss', 'where's Perry?' and 'there you are perry' alot! Grin

bruffin · 05/06/2011 13:48

Ratspeaker
Ds wants the limited edition package for the new cd which includes bfs coming to sing for you. Not sure if that would mean they would come to the UK.

doofenshmirtz · 05/06/2011 14:57

Curse you Perry The Platypus!

aloiseb · 05/10/2011 00:28

TG I found this thread! I thought I was alone with my problem......sat and watched the movie with DS on Sunday, I think I laughed more than he did!

sunnydelight · 05/10/2011 00:59

Thought this was a thread about baby names Grin

DoubleNegativePanda · 05/10/2011 01:01

DH and DD love it, but I spent so long refusing to watch it "because it loos stupid" that I can't admit at this point that I like it. So I watch surreptitiously when they do Wink

Discobeaver Yes, American kids get around that long for their summer holiday. DD had 102 days this past summer.

DoubleNegativePanda · 05/10/2011 01:03

looks

margaretrose · 05/10/2011 21:10

YANBU at all!!!!! you have v good taste, we all love it. Is even funnier at night with glass of wine...................

Soups · 05/10/2011 22:14

Love it :)

Jacanne · 05/10/2011 22:18

Nope...we love it too.

DrCoconut · 05/10/2011 23:07

It's where my user name comes from (see "Spa Day" episode at the end!)

zaphod · 05/10/2011 23:14

YANBU. Love it. Specially Candace and Jeremy.

LEMONAIDE · 05/10/2011 23:17

Love it too, was chuckling over dinner tonight when Perry was hanging outside Candace' bedroom and did the "im watching you" action to the bunny!

Favourite song Squirrel in my pants and the one where Candace says something like "gonna change my name to Larry"

Love the detective pastiche episode.

When the children ask me something I often say "yes, yes I do" and often ask them "watcha doin?" always makes them laugh.

spudinvasion · 05/10/2011 23:18

We love it here too. DH is always calling things "inators" a la doofensmertz.

My DD is also very Candice like, especially when she's on teh phone to one of her friends.

Blast, go the aglet song in my head now!!! A G L E T don;t forget it!!!!

By the by, did you know that the boy from Love Actually is the voice of Ferb?
