I am up to here with the lolling and hunning.

It's not what I came here for.

[fumes]

I'd happily volumteer for the job.

The real problem is that it's pervasive and normal posters are now to be seen holling and lunning where once they were TrueToTheCause.

Sad

Underachieving · 01/04/2011 13:01

You what? Can I have that again in a language I speak please?

HandMini · 01/04/2011 13:01

I don't get it. What is lolling and hunning? Or holling and lunning. Sorry, new-ish (or perhaps just not very observant).

speculationisrife · 01/04/2011 13:01

Don't worry, hun. I'm sure these people of whom you speak will soon get hounded off by the regulars, lol.

ashamedandconfused · 01/04/2011 13:02

LOL, you need to chill hun

TandB · 01/04/2011 13:03

Lolling and hunning.

Poster: You are all cows who think I care what you think. LOL

Poster: I want to do X weird thing.
Reply: Hugs, Hun. Each to their own.

Also known as Netmumspeak.

WassaAxolotl · 01/04/2011 13:03

Oh, don't worry, hun.

Your post made me LOL, though!

5Foot5 · 01/04/2011 13:04

What cause? I don't get it.
Is lolling saying LOL alot?
Don't moderators generally only get invoilved when a scrap starts?

No idea what this thread is about, unless it is an April Fool!!

JeremyVile · 01/04/2011 13:04

Problem is it would likely be the lollers and the hunners who put themselves forward as mods.

GetOrfMoiLand · 01/04/2011 13:04

I say lol all the time.

Sorry, mate Grin

Blame it on my having a teenage daughter. We actually say lol to each other in place of real laughter.

You wait til you have teenage children.

BreconBeBuggered · 01/04/2011 13:04

A list of banned terms would be useful. It's easy to stray into misdemeanours on moderated sites. I wouldn't want to be censored for mentioning hunting or lolloping.
hugzzzzz xxxxx

MrsRhettButler · 01/04/2011 13:04
Grin

have you really seen a hun?

where?

5Foot5 · 01/04/2011 13:05

"Also known as Netmumspeak"

Oh is that it?
I didn't know because I have never been "over there"

lol hun, you go for it

grovel · 01/04/2011 13:07

Hun, hun, hun you need to chillax. LOL. And while I'm giving advice I think you should kick out your DH, bomb Nestle headquarters and hire a private tutor for your DC.

NinkyNonker · 01/04/2011 13:08

I will never 'lol' or 'hun' without my tongue firmly in my cheek, I promise.

My own sister hunned me the other day, I cringed. We're related by blood and everything.

Gingefringe · 01/04/2011 13:08

WTF is this all about??

TysonNobdie86 · 01/04/2011 13:09

Oh Hun, you would be a great moderator lol Grin

worraliberty · 01/04/2011 13:10

I very rarely understand a word you post OP Blush

I'm just bloody glad I didn't have to read the word '[wunk]' again...

poorbuthappy · 01/04/2011 13:11

There is also lots of hugging going on...I'll do the night shift on the modding Chaos!

IreneHeron · 01/04/2011 13:13

Are we allowed to ROFL? Perhaps we should have a list, alongside the acronyms list, of things that are frowned upon. I'd approve of that.

FoofffyShmoofffer · 01/04/2011 13:14

YANBU at all.

and I should also add nary a LOL or a hun has ever passed my finger tips.
Oh No.Hmm Not ever. Nor a babe for that matter. and I NEVER lmao or psml.

True to the Cause < Fist pumps in the air, Wolfie Smith style >

MotherMucca · 01/04/2011 13:15

I am NOT a loller or a hunner. Bleurgh.

YANBU. (huggggsssss).

IreneHeron · 01/04/2011 13:15

I think hugging should only be allowed in the pregnancy, miscarriage, bereavement and relationships sections and not in chat or AIBU.

nenevomito · 01/04/2011 13:19

I wonder if we can get MN to automatically change the word 'hun' to 'twunt'?
