Tee2072 · 16/01/2011 09:25

Ooh, Cunting you mean.

Can't we all just agree that we are adults and use what ever cunting word we want to use?

merrywidow · 16/01/2011 09:25

or Runting Grin

OP posts:
SwearyMary · 16/01/2011 09:26

I like cunt and cunting. Cunty is a nice descriptive.

BellBookandCandle · 16/01/2011 09:27

Depends on the situation really, in relation to Tesco or the like, a bit OTT, but in some circs, it is spot on.

Love the insult in Shameless the other night when Frank called someone "dusty cunted" - am looking to pick a fight just so I can use that Grin

Twunt is a good compromise.

merrywidow · 16/01/2011 09:29

Punting even....

twunt - twee. No compromise at all. Use twat or cunt when it's needed.

SwearyMary · 16/01/2011 09:46

I think the use of cunt is underrated. Nothing more satisfying than muttering "you fucking cunt" at someone when you are (mildly) annoyed.

WimpleOfTheBallet · 16/01/2011 09:49

I don't mind the word at all but get irritated when people use it to try for a laugh.

As in

Cunting Hompride Flour

Cunting Pampers

etc.

Blackduck · 16/01/2011 09:54

You will be told you are being all precious and shoud fuck off and join Bounty

penguin73 · 16/01/2011 09:57

I'm with you Merry, absolutely hate it - though I think we might be in a minority! Mind you, hate being told to fuck off unnecessarily too...

Buda · 16/01/2011 09:59

Hate it too.

Blackduck · 16/01/2011 10:02

penguin I wasn't telling her to, I said someone will come on and say that (had it said to me) I prefer people who are creative with their language and hate seeing that word in thread titles particularly.

Shodan · 16/01/2011 10:03

I also hate it and see no need for it.

Don't care if I'm precious.

GORGEOUSX · 16/01/2011 10:31

Oh, sorry, but what is C...... ? Do you mean Hunting?

MilkNoSugarPlease · 16/01/2011 12:32

I truly fail to see why it's a worse word then fuck tbh!

atswimtwolengths · 16/01/2011 13:00

I hate it - I think it's a really disgusting, misogynistic word.

What I do find funny is when (on Relationships) a husband calls his wife that word and all of Mumsnet are in uproar that he should, and then elsewhere everyone's calling everyone else the same word.

AtYourCervix · 16/01/2011 13:05

Why use instead of the right letters. either you mean Cunt or Cunting or Fuck rather than inserting * as in F* or C*t

what's the difference between writing Cunt or C you are thinking the word so why not use it. Is C any better? we all know you mean Cunt.

so threfefore c* is as bad as Cunt and F** is as bad a Fuck.

if you dn't like it don't use it at all rather than putting in twee to try and make it look better.

bupcakesandcunting · 16/01/2011 13:08

Nowt wrong with cunting.
