Smallbunch - I must admit I do like that one - lots of passionate intensity, still recommend following it up with a bit of 'Womanizer' or 'Rude Boy' though for a dose of raunch !

As you know, MrsLN, I generally go for anything featuring the cravat and frock coat, but since my chums here have introduced me to 'Obsession' I have, ahem, glanced at it once or twice.

Have you seen the Lucas North/Sarah Caulfield one from Spooks 8 (Assassin by Jon Mayer) - nice mixture of vulnerability and naked torso rough edges!

Hmm, dunno. Being naturally nosy I've looked at all the ones linked to from this thread - was it one of those? I don't generally watch the Lucas ones when YT suggests them because, despite being a devotee of Spooks, Lucas doesn't really do it for me.

He is a bit 'closed' in comparison to other characters so I see where you're coming from, however he does get his kit off a fair bit in Series 8, and I don't believe you can ever have too much of a good thing where RA is concerned!

I'm sure I'm overthinking it, but (as I've probably droned on said before) I find the character implausible. He'd be retired on a medical pension, not running around London socking baddies on the jaw. And all the most recent twists in the plot make me worry that he's now bad rather than just tortured (although I've heard a suggestion that Harry saw all this coming and somehow has the situation under control, poor dead CIA cryptographer notwithstanding). But I admit he's a far more interesting character than his two predecessors.

I think perhaps the situation is or soon will be, more under control than meets the eye atm.

Disaster. I've been downloading YouTube the children have been on CBeebies website too much this week and used all the broadband allowance! Dratted DC get in the way again!!!

I'll have to wait to watch that gem you've offered once I'm home on my own allowance! And perhaps I'll track down obsession too for my continued education. I have to say that mostly the hint of what is there is sometimes way more attractive than full on torso but I'd need to see a few more times just to compare and contrast!

There's still 2 more episodes aren't there? Plenty of time to resolve. I hope he doesn't turn put to be really really bad (I had to turn a blind eye to the loose fingers last Monday! But he did let her die listening to his whispered-panted soothings)

I think we need to face the fact that he is leaving but just not going in some spooks grizzly way!

Am wondering if this is the end of Lucas as it says on the agency site that he is currently shooting Spooks. Don't know how up to date that is, but there was also s blurb about the Hobbit role on there so seems it is updated regularly.

Just watched this week's episode of Spooks, and can't help feeling the badder Lucas gets the sexier he is! Really hope LeQueen that despite the lack of plot and dialogue in your drama, there is plenty of opportunity for RA to go around looking harrassed/dangerous/and downright evil. (Alongside the essential clothes shedding scenes and some bedroom action). So far Spooks has beeen a BIG disappointment in that area !

Let's keep hoping for a miracle turn around then mrsLN! We still don't know who michael's boss is either? May be relevant??

OMFG!!!

I've seen that Santander ad 3 or 4 times AT LEAST whilst on half-term hols this week, and I've thought that the voiceover sounded like RA and then berated myself for being obsessed over him, and now it turns out it IS HIM!!!

Don't know whether to be pleased about being able to pick out his voice despite a relatively recent discovery of his many talents, or return to berating myself over the obsession!!!

Will have to go back to the agents' website and listen to a few more before I make up my mind!! [hgrin]
