I definitely would.

Maybe twice.

Yes, that's why I say I prefer the 190 year-old gentleman. By my very crude calculation, Mr Thornton would have been born in about 1820. Confused But he does cut a very dashing figure in a frock coat.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 22/10/2010 22:31

That last one was to SiriusStar.

MrsLucasNorth · 22/10/2010 23:24

It's a nice thought LeQueen but I'm pretty sure Lucas would be more into 35 year old journalists turned school secretaries!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 22/10/2010 23:40

Wrong RH episode. My memory's going.
190 year old? Bah, a mere stripling. Give me a real mature man of about 850.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 22/10/2010 23:55

Well, that certainly puts it in context, theresaholeinyourmind! And to think I had been worrying that at a mere I was too old for Mr Thornton.

So when can you expect the exciting scene where suddenly Guy's tunic falls off?

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 22/10/2010 23:56

I'm sure it will all be done in the Best Possible Taste.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 23/10/2010 00:02

I think it was last week, Flowers. :(
It's all over YouTube though, you must have seen it,,,Unless there's another one I don't know about

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 23/10/2010 00:11

The penny drops. Do you mean the scene where he's waddling around shirtless with his legs in armour while Marian ogles or the one where he changes his tunic? Both seem to crop up in every fan video. After all, for a man of 850 he's in remarkably fine shape.

Right. Must go to bed as I have to be a sensible grown-up in the morning. So I shall leave you with a .

Theresaholeinyourmind · 23/10/2010 13:57

You mean the armour that looks as if he's cobbled it up from a few baked bean tins, Flowers? TBH I think he looks a bit silly in that. Shocking I know but there it is...

The scene I mean is the one where he's standing with his back to the camera, pulls off his black Favorite Teeshirt(tm) from the Lccksley branch of Ye Gappe and as he does, his black leather clad butt gives the teeniest little shimmy.

Wasted on Alan who is the one in the room with him IIRC.

Thanks for the story. Was I sitting comfortably?

Yummy!

Theresaholeinyourmind · 23/10/2010 14:50

Sure is, Mrs LN.
,
''Six foot two
Eyes of blue
But oh what those six feet can do
Has anybody seen my Guy?''

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 23/10/2010 17:59

Yeah, I'm really puzzled by that scene with the armour. Obviously (or so I presume) it's generally regarded as being Hugely Erotic, and so is in all the fan videos, but the fact that he can't walk properly because of the baked bean tins armour and lumbers across the room like Frankenstein's monster somewhat dissipates the amorous tension, in my humble opinion.

So instead I offer you this .

MrsLucasNorth · 23/10/2010 20:33

Smallbunch - if that was a teatime treat 0- this is definitely one for After Eight...

...just off for a cold shower! Wink

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 23/10/2010 20:40

You know, I think my wiring may be faulty. That really didn't float my boat. Wheareas the teatime treat .......

MrsLucasNorth · 23/10/2010 20:44

Thoroughly enjoyed 'teatime' too!

MrsLucasNorth · 23/10/2010 21:05

Nope - have just had another look at 'Rude Boy' and come to the conclusion, Smallbunch that either you do have faulty wiring or I am very hormonal at the moment!

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 23/10/2010 21:50

Perhaps it was the inclusion (yet again) of the baked bean tin armour scene that spoilt it for me. Although I am extremely old and have long since forsaken the hurly burly of the chaise longue for the comfort of the marriage bed, and so am no judge of these things, I must say that I thought the Obsession video was raunchier.

Anyway, I have taken an intensive video editing course and have made my own . Wink

Theresaholeinyourmind · 23/10/2010 22:52

Poor Guy, he'll never live that armour down now. And it's all my fault.Sorry, chicken.

I am now slightly mollified after the debacle of last night's wrongly remembered RH episode, as tonight's was the''Gi's a kissy, Gizzy'' one

That sheriff is bad

Have to say in the old letch's defence that G was looking supremely snoggable, and I had to stop myself from heckling Marion in a Captain Mannering voice:''Stupid girl!''

Anyway it's late so I'll have to check out the links tomorrow

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 23/10/2010 23:03

at reference to Captain Mainwaring. We were going to watch some RH tonight but Strictly Come Dancing took precedence.

And yes, it is late. We'd better have .

MrsLucasNorth · 23/10/2010 23:32

Was thinking Smallbunch no Mr Thornton in that vis either

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 23/10/2010 23:39

No, the ones that aim for raunch never seem to include Mr Thornton, who generally gets his own more sedate videos. Which is a shame, as I find the end of North and South where he gets his cravat off very thrilling. Wink

Night, night.

floozietoozie · 24/10/2010 11:09

Ladies - can I just say thank you from the bottom i
of my heart for the hours of entertainment you have provided me with through the night while feeding. Keep up the good work. Sadly the YT clips are not working on my stupid iPhone so I shall be forced to the computer very soon to investigate the hotness culture so kindly offered by you artistic types.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 24/10/2010 12:59

Morning, all

Mrs LN, I am pleased to report I have finally found time to take the bag off the head of your DH and spend a couple of hours getting to know him. Tres joli, even when working that thin pale Series Seven look.

I shall let you know my take on those clips.

Welcome, Floozie, it's nice to know our exhaustive and exhausting round the clock efforts in the name of Art and Culture are appreciated. We always welcome new researchers, BTW.

ASmallBunchofFlowers · 24/10/2010 13:41

Hello everyone and welcome, Floozie.

I saw this, theresaholeinyourmind, and . After all, everyone should have something hot and tasty for their Sunday lunch. Arf.

Theresaholeinyourmind · 24/10/2010 14:00

Well, that tea time treat certainly beats cucumber sandwiches and fondant fancies, Flowers. Fair set my wafer-thin Doulton china cup a-wobble in its saucer...

I spat out a mouthful of me Lapsang Souchong onto the antimacassers at the After Eight offering. Those lyrics..And if you keep your eyes above the belt, even the infamous BBT armour scene is not so bad.

I did like the bedtime story. He'd better watch where he's waving that wand of his though. Last time I had to put him on the naughty step for saying
