Now I quite like Victoria Beckham. I don't think she's stunning to look at but I have always thought she was quite attractive if you ignore the bones poking through her skin.

But I have seen this picture this morning, and I actually think she looks ugly, almost piggish.

Thoughts?

She's got enough about her to attract (and keep) the hunk o' sex that us David Beckham. For that, she has my respect.

I thought it was great to see her looking more natural and I love her dress, never been a VB fan but I think accepting a photo like this with a bit of real life evident on her face is great. YABU and good on you VB!

That would be because she's way too skinny and her head looks too big for her body. And she looks knackered.

I don't understand why people dislike VB so much. I can't believe so much dislike can stem from (a) she is thin and (b) she is a bit pouty.

That is a terrible photo of her. I feel a bit sorry for her (sometimes). It must be hard being married to someone who is soooo good looking.

She gets a lot of bad press primarily, I think, because she has a tendency to look aloof and posy but, hey, doesn't make her a bad person. FWIW I think she's a good mum.

She looked worse than she normally does.

I remember watching a television programme that documented her day-to-day life and she was really funny, intelligent and witty. It surprised me and I've liked her ever since. She reckons she doesn't smile because she hates her teeth. She gets a lot of stick from women and I think it's unjust, especially when there's people far more deserving of our criticism.

There's nothing wrong with her. She looks totally normal, average, fine.

The problem I think, is with people who expect that anyone - sorry, any woman - in the public eye should be made up, tweeked and twisted and operated on until she is a vision of perfect lovelyness.

No wonder so many women have eating disorders, feel ugly and go under the knife.

I totally agree with cupcakes. She is a good'un. Works hard, seems a devoted wife and mother and puts up with all the hideous comments people make about her.

I think her clothes are wonderful.
She has a niche market, i.e only very wealthy, very slim people can wear them but hey ho there's nothing wrong in being specilized and knowing your customer base.

She's tired. She works really hard. She's human. Is this not enough? We constantly complain about how unreal celebrities look and when they seem frail, we bitch about them.

I'm not particularly a fan but I don't like the way she's really slagged off. She's managed to carve out another career for herself and is doing very well.

I love her clothes - not that I could afford any - they've very elegant, clean lines and sophisticated.

Those dresses do look marvellous. yes, you have to be rich and thin, however you have to be rich and thin to buy Chanel, Gucci, Donna Karan, versace, all of them. Fashion at this level is about being rich and thin. VB didn't invent the principle.

I imagine it is pretty tiring planning a collection, raising 3 kids, being married, living across god knows how many time zones. No, she doesn't have to work so hard, but then again if she just lived on David's millions we would then be castigating her like Colleen Rooney.

She looks tired and TBH her hair extensions are awful. she is quite pretty really but I do wish she would smile more as she has a great life.

Re her not liking her smile - she does have a bit of a shark bite thing going on. If you're photographed as much as she is then you're bound to become very conscious of the slightest flaw. It's a shame really because she is obviously attractive enough to bag a complete hottie.

Ermmm I agree she works hard and all that but she doesn't design the clothes. she works with designers and approves the ones she likes.

Not that i have friends in high places or anything but I have it on pretty good authority that that's the case (from a london designer who's worked as a pattern cutter for various famous designers).

If you look hard you'll spot the "flavour" of the dresses.

I like VB - I saw the programme on her when they first moved to LA and she came across as really warm and with a sharp sense of humour. She took the piss out of herself a lot and seems to be a really hands on mum.

she looks incredibly normal. why are women so into slagging off other women? it doesn't make you sound very confident. or pleasant.
