Newcomer

I have read a few topics on here over the last week after being shown this site by a friend.

One thing I have noticed that there is a lot of posters having problems with:

Neighbours
In Laws
Cats
Parking
Schools
etc etc

and come on here to talk about it/let off steam BUT not deal with the issue for fear of "upsetting" someone.

As long as your in the right give them a "talking" to, dont be a doormat or you will always get walked on.

I just wondered if there's some sort of invasion going on. Just idly wondering, not really saying there is. It seems like there are loads of slightly weird threads at the moment with lots of , that's all.

(I only called them "newcomers" because of the title of this thread, not because I think all newbies are trolls)

Yes, me too. Sorry, my initial post clearly didn't make sense. I didn't intend it to sound like a dig at you or other posters here, it was a response to the OP, who seemed to me to be stirring it a bit, in common with several other OPs I happened to click on today.
