hahahahahaha!

we shall see soon enough mrleebob when its your darling wife...

MumInBeds · 02/09/2010 20:40

Sometimes it doesn't, but I think that is the exception.

reallytired · 02/09/2010 20:41

lol.... Maybe its true for trolls.

expatinscotland · 02/09/2010 20:42

Yes, GiseleBundchen, YABU.

Morloth · 02/09/2010 20:42

Doesn't for me, I use hypnobirthing.

[smug]

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 02/09/2010 20:42

Depends who you are really!

If you're the one giving birth then it does smart a bit, if you're the DH looking in and doing a bit of hand holding and brow mopping then it probably doesn't!

Anyway, for me it didn't hurt for long so you're not B too U !

AlistairSim · 02/09/2010 20:43

Mine have always been orgasmic.

It's because I was doing it right.

I am a proper woman.

MistsandMellowMilady · 02/09/2010 20:43

Well it depends on your definition of "hurt" I suppose.

Would you care to take part in a comparative study?

TheCrackFox · 02/09/2010 20:44

Mine didn't hurt at all because I had lots of lovely drugs.

YANBU

MarineIguana · 02/09/2010 20:44

I wouldn't know! Contractions hurt so much I decided against feeling the pain of childbirth. :)

SecretNutellaFix · 02/09/2010 20:44

why don't you shit a watermelon and see how your nether regions feel?Smile

SirBoobAlot · 02/09/2010 20:45

Piss off.

EdgarAllInPink · 02/09/2010 20:45

indeed Iwish which is why, in order to share the experience, i suggested punching DH in the lower abdomen every time i had a contraction. He didn't take me up on this kind offer...

shame, he'd said he wanted to be involved.

lifeas3plus1 · 02/09/2010 20:45

Mine was fairly painless actually, thinking about it.

Stung like a bitch but not painful.

Flibbertyjibbet · 02/09/2010 20:46

No, the childbirth didn't hurt me. It was that darned needle going in for the spinal that REALLY hurt.
Oh and where they put the drip in my hand. Ow Ow OOOOOWWWWWWW!!!!!

tethersend · 02/09/2010 20:46

I felt no pain at all

They numbed me from the chest down and then cut me open to get the baby out (breech). No labour, nothing. Not even a contraction.

You should all worship me, really.

IMoveTheStars · 02/09/2010 20:48

[repeatedly kicks OP in the bollocks]

having fun yet? Grin Wink

StealthPolarBear · 02/09/2010 20:48

Well there was one contraction near the end where I let out a quiet, controlled yelp and asked DH please may I have a paracetamol, but other than that it was fine.

LadySanders · 02/09/2010 20:49

the first 40 hours of my second labour weren't too bad, but after that i kept shouting at DH 'no but it really fcuking hurts' as if this would be a surprise to him

MrsC2010 · 02/09/2010 20:49

Hahahahahahahahaha. When I have gotten over it I will tell the tale of my Jekyll and Hyde birth...but it was only 3 wks ago so it is all rather fresh! Needless to say anaethetists are my new favourite people. Grin

ratspeaker · 02/09/2010 20:49

Of course it doesn't.
Neither does having a tooth pulled.
Or an appendectomy...

KurriKurri · 02/09/2010 20:50

OP - just because a woman doesn't notice anything happening when the baby is made, doesn't mean she won't feel it coming out.

AlistairSim · 02/09/2010 20:52

I do worship you, tethersend.

But only in a stalker/creepy kind of way, so nowt to worry about.

tethersend · 02/09/2010 20:53

I crave any kind of attention, Alistair- worship away.

I could have some icons made.

StealthPolarBear · 02/09/2010 20:54

lol Kurri :o
