I just wanted to let all my lovely friends here know that I will be stepping away from the board for a while.
I have been diagnosed with breast cancer so have a tough year of chemo and surgery ahead.
I am very positive. The surgeon has ahem 'a lot to work with' so I hope that at the age of 60 I will emerge from this with a nice pair of perky pert c cups. Every cloud......
You are all wonderful, I will back to catch up with you all.

Oh Ted27 I am so sad to read this. I had breast cancer when I was 49 I survived and continued to adopt, I was so lucky! I am sending love and positive vibes. My thoughts are with you and stay strong as you always have!!

My prognosis is good. But its going to be a tough year.
Ive just come off the phone with another friend. Im overwhelmed by generosity of the support I'm receiving.
Who needs drugs when you have the power of the sisterhood - and a couple of husbands

I will of course check in from time to time.
I am facing a difficult week with hospital appts. I also have to tell my family, including that lovely boy of mine
