Sorry for shouting in the title but I am sooo excited and nervous!

Finally I recieved a phone call from my link worker to say that he and his boss are coming to see me on Wednesday to discuss a possible match!

i know it's still only a maybe but after being aproved for 3 years my dd and I are bursting with prospective happiness

Sorry I dissappered, had to go to work.

We are both really excited, don't know any details til wednesday but we are now approved for a child 0-5yrs, so it is wide open really although dd want's a little sister

I hope your right Hester, after nearly 5 yrs since we started the process ans numerous hoops jumped through there finally looks like there could be light at the end of the tunnel

Yeah coventgarden, we were approved (me & dd) 3 yrs ago for a girl 2-5 yrs but then was suspended for a year til I had stopped smoking then new approval in may for 0-5 yrs child

It has been a long road but one well worth treading especially now with a light at the end of the tunnel (I hope) at last

I didn't know they were making people stop smoking but for everyones benefit it is the right thing to do.

I really hope it works out for you on Wednesday .

the legislation is (with my la) that they will not place a child under 5 in a smokers home.

I do agree fully with the legislation but after all the hoops they get you to jump through to get approved it felt like another hurdle to cross slap in the face but we got there in the end
