mummylin2495 · 22/11/2008 11:30

Yes siblings like to revert back to childhood when they are together. Sis always become more grown up and likes to think she knows best!

mummylin2495 · 22/11/2008 11:34

my brothers and i are exactly like that wotz !!! in fact when one of my brothers was here the other day and we were playing on the wii,it must of seemed so funny to my mum watching two of her children " playing again " and we are all still very competitive in all things, even as to who has got the biggest cake when mum has made us all one !!! its all done in good humour though and is a source of great amusement to our mum ha haha !!

youtube Ben Folds Five - Brick Bit depressing, but uplifting at the same time.

6 am day after christmas
I throw some clothes on in
The dark
The smell of cold
Car seat is freezing
The world is sleeping and
I am numb
Up the stairs to her apartment
She is balled up on the couch
Her mom and dad went down
To charlotte
Theyre not home to find us
Out
And we drive
Now that I have founds someone
Im feeling more alone
Than I ever have before

Chorus
Shes a brick and Im drowning
Slowly
Off the coast and Im headed
Nowhere
Shes a brick and Im drowning
Slowly

They call her name at 7:30
I pace around the parking lot
Then I walk down to buy her
Flowers
And sell some gifts that I got
Cant you see
Its not me youre dying for
Now shes feeling more alone
Than she ever has before

Chorus

As weeks went by
It showed that she was not fine
They told me son its time
To tell the truth
And she broke down and I broke
Down
cause I was tired of lying
Driving back to her apartment
For the moment were alone
Shes alone
And Im alone
Now I know it.

Sorry for sudden disappearance earlier.

The neighbour came round wanting to know if I could give him a lift into nearby town as he wanted to do some christmas shopping.

'Who have you to buy for, Tom?'

'Me niece and her family in America and I like her to get them something nice as they're all I have left, no other family'

I felt quite sad when he told me that so invited him to Christmas dinner.

Just have to tell dh.

Telephoned brother and told him I love him very much even though he wrecks my head.

Tn0g · 22/11/2008 19:53

Sorry for shouting but I'm excited

Tn0g · 22/11/2008 21:13

Tom is lovely, Wotzy.

Really, really lovely.

He's of a generation that knew the true value of people and pulling together through hard times.

His wife left him years ago and for all he knows she could be dead and buried, hasn't heard from her in 40 0dd years.

He looks so sad still when he talks about it.

< I'm not kind at all, wotzy....I'm just worried about when I grow old and being lonely possibly...couldn't bear that. >

Waltzywotzy · 22/11/2008 22:03

I'm just worried about getting those magic nicks off quick enough if I need a wee, I got the really long ones that come right up to just under your norks!

I remember you saying that about T and his wife. That must be hard to live with, the not knowing.

You won't be lonely, I can't imagine that you would be. You'd find a way not to be.

mummylin2495 · 22/11/2008 22:50

wotz if i were to have a pair of those,it would be magic for sure , all you would see of me would be my head one end and my legs the other ,i would be able to say " look there is nobody here " tnog ,that is a lovely thing to do for your neighbour.>

Wow I need those knickers.

They will/shall slim my tummy right down.

I have taught how to say "red sky at night shepherds delight" "red sky in morning shepherds warning" In Italian.

it sounds so nice. I have forgot it now though.

Something Like,
do seru do seru
la bum cheek do seru

or something along those lines.

Think it's one of them when you have to be there at time time appreciate funniness.

Went shopping worky friend on Friday.lots of fun.and giggles....

Still no present from OH.

letter sent to Mum GP. She is on fluoxetine too now.... Dr said was "very astute". I may beat her up if it not a good word.

ABloke · 23/11/2008 08:59

Oh dear too early, lots of typos and double words.

I am now in a situation at work which feels a wee bitty like school.

She = Bossy headteacher, attempting to tell me WHAT TO DO - SHE HAS BEEN THERE FER 3 WEEKS

Me = 15 year old with attitude problem.

everything she tells me to do, I say "oh I have done that already", or "oh yes, of course, I done that weeks ago".

reverted back to my childhood.

refuse to picked. Or pushed out.

feck her, and her nun like clothes.

Me = Nice laid back about work

Her = Angry, stressed, attempting to be too professional over a fecking DIARY

Can you believe it...? older woman.

Waltzywotzy · 23/11/2008 17:21

AB, just agree with everything in a way that will be polite but at the same time highly irritating. For example use "Absolutely" to answer only her questions.

Older Woman (OW) "I think we should do this"

AB "Absolutely"

OW "have you done that yet?"

AB "Absolutely"

OW "Is there a note in my diary?"

AB "Absolutely"

OW "Are you agreeing with everything I say?"

AB "Absolutely"

OW "Am I a complete control freak?"

AB "Absolutely - Oh I mean no of course not"

Tn0g · 23/11/2008 17:50

Absolutely, Wotzy.

Waltzywotzy · 23/11/2008 18:03

Do you think its odd to like privacy? I don't.

Do you think one day in the future people who do not use social networking, msn, blogs or forums will be in the minority and therefore consider not the norm?

I'm reading Blind Faith by Ben Elton.
