Just rediscovered pork pies with mustard! What are your favourite surprisingly delicious snacks?

Salt & vinegar crisps
Marmite & cherry tomatoes on toast
Camembert & mushrooms on toast

Does an instant mashed potatoe barm/muffin class as a snack currently rediscovered them after buying smash in home bargains 😔

Oxo cubes.

Marmite and sliced hard boiled egg on toast is very nice

Crunchy peanut butter with sliced apple, apple has to be very sour is really good

Blue cheese on water crackers with a little marmalade has to be a bitter orange marmalade some are too sweet

I shall try Marmite with cherry tomatoes on toast that sounds good

Oh I really need to try blue cheese and marmalade. I love marmalade and bacon sandwich.

I usually do this as a starter, but can make a snack. Filo parcels of brie and mango chutney.

Parmesan with honey

Coleslaw and jalapeño sandwich. Cheap white bread.

Caramelised onion hummus on toast.

Sliced tomatoes and grated cheddar on toast with black pepper and lots of butter.

Wensleydale with cranberries in on oaty biscuits.

If I have had the oven on I put a couple of Eccles cakes in to warm up.
Or if the heating is on I wrap them in foil and put them on the radiator for a bit.
Soooo much nicer when warm.

These Spanish Christmas sweets which are wafers with almond paste inside. They are so delicious and it was getting out of hand. I was eating a box a day! I think there were none left in UK or even Spain by the end of my several month binge last time!

I don't want anyone else to get so deeply addicted. I ended up having to have a tooth pulled! (Not sure two things are definitely connected) 😂

Decent cottage cheese with pistachios on top, black pepper and some vegetables to dunk.

A Tayto crisp sandwich with Irish salted butter- not too much - and cheap sliced pan.

A buttered digestive biscuit.
A warm Eccles cake with a slice of any blue cheese melted on top. (But Stilton preferably).

I love oat cakes with peanut butter and apple (and a drizzle of honey if I'm feeling fancy)

I love a cheese and apple sandwich.
Buttered cream crackers are vastly underrated

I would like to know the name of these pleeeease 😁I won't blame you should I also loose a tooth due to overdosing on them! They sound worth it!

Waitrose vegan samosas
Oat cakes with nut butter and banana
Mince pies, esp the bite sized ones.

Always dollops of peanut butter with sliced apple!

A girl I went to school with in the 60s used to carry an Oxo cube everywhere with her, and occasionally lick it. She used to have Wright's Coal Tar soap with her at all times, too, because she loved to sniff it. She was, in all other ways, perfectly normal.

My snack is a grape (well, several,. but one at a time) wrapped in a little bit of Serrano ham. The sweet/savoury combination is heavenly.
