Are you a fan?
I've just bought a bag on a whim!
I only like the round pink and yellow coconut ones, and the spogs.
Any takers for the rest of the bag 😂

Love liquorice torpedoes. And confits - are they like torpedoes but smaller?

Yes the comfits are the small ones like a torpedo. Love them and used to buy them as a child rather than chocolate. Found I like the scandi salty liquorice a lot but have to watch my blood pressure. Can definitely recommend Lakrids, even my OH who hates liquorice will eat those if I let him, but they're too expensive a treat to waste on him. Love the sprogs and the brown square Allsorts best and always leave the coconut ones to last.

I liked the liquorice tubes with sherbet inside. I think they were called liquorice wands.

I like the orange layered ones and the black and white roll ones. I have had three successive packets with very few of these unfortunately.

Love them but can't eat them any more (gluten free). Toilet rolls are my favourite. Hate the spogs.

I have a clear memory of eating all the sherbet with the wand and then offering my Mum the sticky with spit liquorice like some kind of massive treat because she loved liquorice!

We just called them beadies 😂

Yes!!!! I probably looked like a bag of Dolly Mixtures when I was a kid.😂

I’m definitely buying some today! That’s my snack sorted for Strictly later 🙈😂

Sherbet fountains !

Ooh yes the big cubes and candy liquorice tubes are my favourite too but I also love the coconut ones. What annoys me is that there's hardly any of those in the pack!

How have I got to my advanced age and never come across the word "spogs"?!

I also loved the liquorice pipes with the red bobblies representing the lit tobacco. I used to sit with my cousins ‘smoking’ them. Happy days.

I like Dutch Haribo liquorice which is not salty but you can't get it here.

I don't much like it! When I was a kid it was fine, because DM did like it so we would separate it all out and none was wasted.😁

Whatever you do don’t buy the Tesco version. I made that mistake and apart from the plain black ones they were revolting! Especially the strawberry sandwich ones. I’m still bitter and it’s been a few months now.

So as you forced me to go and buy some I present you with my packet (in order) and I am super lucky as I got two berries and only 2 coconuts. Yum

Bassetts always disappoint me! The sandwiches don’t have a white layer, just pink or brown. Sainsburys or M and S are beautiful though.

Sainsbury's have the bigger "share" (as if) bag on offer with Nectar price.

I used to like them but they seem very sweet nowadays so rarely have them. It's strange as I like all sorts of other sweet things.
