Anyone else concerned about the price of fuel?

Yesterday it was £1.66 near us a litre and today it’s £1.71. It seems to be climbing by the day and although I hear tuts and sighs most people just seem to be accepting it. The government hasn’t said a word - but mind you they’ve made approximately £130million in excess VAT since Feb when this conflict started. I recently switched to a hybrid so it’s not costing me quite as much but I wonder how high the government is prepared to let it go before they will slash the VAT?

What about disabled or the elderly?
What should they do?

The EV boom will fizzle out soon. People with driveways have moved over but millions of people who live in flats or ex council estates don't have charger points.
The 500+ homes in our ex-council estate share communal parking. There are no plans for the council, housing association or county council to install any charging at all. I have asked them all several times, there's literally nothing pencilled in even in the long term. There are no lamposts in most places to even connect the electricity to.

Wonder what you are basing that title on, I haven't said anything about the US or Epstein. You, however, don't think Russia is an enemy which is something someone being paid would say, or a Russian/North Korean/Belarusian would say, or what a useful idiot would say, whereas anyone who has been paying attention to current events would consider Russia a serious risk to peace and international stability.

Honestly there's so many things in this thread I don't know where to begin with in terms of what the geopolitical and logistical situation currently sit.

It absolutely needs a proper comment from the PM on the situation at this point.

It's all gone a bit tumbleweedy and it's not reflecting the actual situation. The media is days behind and only just beginning to catch up and grasp how it's all interconnected and the implications for the coming few months.

I'm flattered that some of you keep keeping track on me, I haven't even counted myself how many threads I have expressed my opinions on. I stand by what I have said in the other threads: one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.
