My aunt loves Putin. She fancies him, too!

I’m sure there are but the people we have heard of tend to be white, male and older because they get more power in the world.
I am sure there are similar men in Africa for example that have power there but that the people posting on MN have heard less about them. How people like Trump get into power in a democracy like America is a worry.

So are the leaders of Iran.

I agree with a lot of your points. But I don’t agree that it’s wrong to label Trump as evil. His leadership has directly and indirectly lead to a huge amount of death and suffering. Cutting USAID, ICE crackdowns, Roe v Wade being overturned, changes in access to healthcare, vaccine rollback and spread of misinformation, the war with Iran. There will be many more. These are issues that he has made a direct choice to inflict through his executive orders, through his choices of politicians to lead in areas of healthcare etc. He made these choices despite being informed of the death and suffering they would cause. So whilst I agree there are many evil people across the world, I absolutely would put him into that category.

I don’t think that they’re likely to start torturing people or poisoning us if we don’t pay up!
