Sandi Toksvig...I mean she's ok..but personally she itches my tits.

Oh yes totally agree with Olivia Colman

Who did she manage to kid she can act? It doesn’t matter what role she is - the queen, a detective, a lovely mum, a comedy villain. She plays them identically

DancingInTheMoonlights · 29/08/2026 20:50

Yes, Lulu for me as well.

I’m surprised she’s only been mentioned once but Cilla Black. Plain with a lousy singing voice and literally must have been blowing all The Beatles to get on like she did. Then there’s the overdone Liverpool accent - I saw an interview with her when she was young and while she had an accent it was slight and she was actually quite well spoken

It’s also a well known fact she was utterly obnoxious. A uni friend of mine used to date someone who had a low paid job at LWT and she unused to treat the lesser mortals like something she’d trod in. He said the best thing you could say about her was that her husband was even worse

I lasted half an hour of Sheridan Smith overdoing that accent it was tortuous

mumisfull · 29/08/2026 20:54

I’m another saying David Jason. He’s always made me feel nauseous right from being little.
I think there’s things to come out about him.

Mylifehasimploded · 29/08/2026 20:05

Going to get slaughtered……Joanna Lumley.

Ha! So I'm not alone!

Anyone I say that to in real life, looks horror-struck, and clearly instantly thinks less of me 😂

StrathSellsFlats · 29/08/2026 20:55

Helen Mirren .. foul mouth on her, switch her off instantly, smutty mare.

Miriam Margolyes .. her “ humour” is based on others shock and embarrassment, Utterly vile.

Dawn French .. used to like her when she did comedy, not so much since she pops up being snidey

Paul McCartney (ducks..) professional scouser- but hasn’t lived there in decades, I dread the outpourings when he finally goes. but I can’t bear the Beatles, nor their wailing ‘music’

Sir Beckham and his Mrs… he’s starting turning up to bloody everything! He seems to blindly be led into this, that and the other of functions, I’m sick of his gormless mug every time there’s something national on. I also cannot bear the sight of the raisin munching Mrs Boney-Moroney! They are so fake together, if you turned them round, they’d have “ Made in Taiwan” stamped on them!

Rod Stewart, he needs to pack it in. Gone too far now, he’s bloody 81!

Any other knackered very elderly musicians, pop stars of my youth.. looking at you Cliff, Phil Collins, et all. You can’t need the money, you can’t hit the notes and it’s all a bit cringe.

Going to think of some…

DH has asked for princess Diana and Winston Churchill to be added...I think he might be taking the piss.

I’m definitely going to have to duck after this one, but I agree on Princess Diana. I’m not sure she would still be so universally loved if she was still alive. I think she was quite volatile and manipulative.

Tryagain26 · 29/08/2026 20:56

Joanna Lumley

KatyaKanani · 29/08/2026 20:56

Olivia Colman. She was absolutely dreadful as the late Queen in The Crown, just awful.
Claudia Winkleman I find irritating. A fringe is not a personality.
I agree with everyone about Miriam Margolyse and her stories on Graham Norton.

I agree

ErrolTheDragon · 29/08/2026 20:57

Is Lorraine Kelly an NT? If so, her.

HoppityBun · 29/08/2026 20:57

YourAmplePlumPoster · 29/08/2026 20:00

Lucien Freud. Serial philanderer and woman abuser.

Surely you can’t be a national treasure after you’re dead? He was a stunning artist. And unlike most other people here, he didn’t put himself in the public eye. I don’t personally agree with judging someone’s professional output on the basis of what you think of them as a person. Caravaggio was a bit of a shit and a troubled man, but it would be bizarre to dismiss his paintings because of his behaviour.

HexInductionHour · 29/08/2026 20:57

@StrathSellsFlats poor Phil he can’t perform anymore and hasn’t for years

MrJumpyLegs · 29/08/2026 20:58

BeardySchnauzer · 29/08/2026 20:48

I quite like him after seeing him play the dame in panto

That’s when I went off him!

BeardySchnauzer · 29/08/2026 20:59

MrJumpyLegs · 29/08/2026 20:58

That’s when I went off him!

I don’t know - he was clearly enjoying himself so much and I loved the thought of half the audience being foreigners and completely confused by the whole thing!

Treemouse · 29/08/2026 20:59

Another vote for Stephen and Miriam from me 😆

Unreasonableexpectation · 29/08/2026 20:59

I know I’m going to get absolutely flamed for this, but I was never a fan of Princess Di 🤷‍♀️

musicandmen · 29/08/2026 20:59

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 29/08/2026 18:48

Stephen Fry, although as already said, I’ll never tire of watching him as Jeeves.

Miriam Margoyles - very pleased with her opinionated self.

Agree with Miriam. Vulgar women

therealduchess · 29/08/2026 20:59

Miriam Margoyles
Joanna Lumley
Lulu!
Carol Vorderman (is she a NT?!)
Davina McCall

In that order!

PurpleDiva22 · 29/08/2026 21:00

Alison Hammond!

AnneShirleyBlythe · 29/08/2026 21:00

Most of those already mentioned! I think that in the world of celebrity they all go round blowing smoke up each other’s arses & declaring each other NTs etc. Most of us ordinary people don’t particularly like ( or give a toss about) any of them.

I am going to except 10cc from this. I saw them live at a festival a few years ago and they sang a capella. Still definitely got it in spades

Ah, the Edward Fox school of acting.

He only ever plays the part of "Edward Fox - Actor"

HermioneHerman · 29/08/2026 21:05

Also loathe Michael McIntyre as mentioned by others. I worked with him a few times on charity events years ago and he was hard work which I will forgive as it can be a slog doing these things when you're building your career. He was extremely extremely funny though, brilliant at ad libbing and seemed very natural and talented.

Now he's so bland to me, I can't recognise that hilarious, spontaneous person he used to be, the jokes are so dull and formulaic, all the skipping about and silly voices. He comes across as being unbearably smug and pleased with himself, having his name in titles of everything and clearly believing his own hype. Maybe just the effects of prime time type success but feels such a shame. I can't see he'll have huge longevity with the current schtick but maybe I'm wrong, he will have made a lot of money I guess!

RemindMeIn15Minutes · 29/08/2026 21:05

Stephen Fry and Miriam Margolyes.
