Can’t remove Crazy colour stuff

Stupidly I let my DD talk me into using crazy colour on her hair (mid blonde natural) and although it’s faded I cant get it out
Tonight I've tried Vosene and washing up liquid but I can’t shift it.
Shes 11 and is back at school in a week.
Any advice on removal? The colour base remover is bleach so I don’t want to do that.
please help!

I have a week of washing before school. I hope that will do it if I do it daily

How much underside is dyed? Is it too much to braid it and then tuck it onto itself in a low ponytail for example? That’s what I did with DD’s hair when she had just underside and it wasn’t fully faded by September. Never had an issue.

I’m a hairdresser, it is going to be difficult to get out, but please don’t go down the bleach path. Head and shoulders/vosene with bicarbonate of soda left on for 15/20 minutes, condition well after, rinse and repeat. Good luck. X

Put loads of Head & Shoulders on her hair, wrap it in clingfilm and a towel and leave it on for 20-30 mins
I used to do this when I was trying to fade my dyed hair to go grey

It was the whole underside, but most of that has faded off.
There are some very stubborn bits, but I do think it’s pinking up and more natural hair is coming through, so I’m going to carry on with the 10 mins and n for the next few days and see.
I will write a note for school, it’s not ideal but it’s hardly her whole head and it was a mistake rather than an attempt to put two fingers up to school rules. I assumed it would wash out fairly soon after!

Take your daughter to a hairdresser. Don't mess around trying to strip the colour yourself, because you could make it worse.

Unfortunately, it will need removing if your daughter is starting secondary school. The last thing she needs is to be sent to isolation due to the colour still in her hair. She then wouldn't be allowed back into school, until the colour is removed. It's better to get it removed professionally now!
