Why are they in and out of the loo?? 🧐

I’m having some work done in the house at the moment. Just some new storage units fitted so we are still in the house ourselves. We’ve had 2 different fitters coming and going in the past few days.
the first guy was only there for maybe 1hr or so taking out the existing units. He used the toilet on at least 3 occasions. He looked about mid 40s to fifty so unlikely to have prostate problems.
Second guy came this morning. Younger, maybe early 30s. Was only there about 25 minutes before I left for work and had already used the loo twice.
I don’t have any issue with workmen using the loo I know it’s non of my business but I’m intrigued.
Why are they in and out of the loo so often??

It could just be an insurance policy:

"He that will not when he may, when he will he shall have nay"

That's my policy (but I am older).

Ketamine. It leaves people partially incontinent. Always running for tiny pees.

Don't leave the loo lid up, they might be thirsty and having a drink considering the weather, our dog used to do that - we learned to put the lid down and voila - problem solved, alternately if you have a bidet; they might be washing their clothes in it.
...or just checking their phones on the quiet...

Just for good measure I'd check for hidden micro cameras once they leave.

I obviously lead a sheltered life because I would never have jumped to the conclusion they were using coke!

Me neither!?! I'm obviously very naive lol

I would suspect coke! Or maybe a vape if I wasn't being dramatic. Can you smell bubblegum blueberry ice. It whatever the "flavours " are.

You're joking, right? The fact that someone is monitoring someone else toilet use is more concerning to me than how many times those people are using the loo.

As for why they're using it, there could be a hundred valid reasons, but your first thought was coke!!?? Really??

Have you had them a zillion cups of tea or coffee?

When I use real ground coffee the builders spend a LONG TIME in the toilet. I quite enjoy knowing this evil outcome.

What? You’re deliberately making them feel unwell? Why are you so unkind?

It's not unwell - coffee makes you shit! But if you are used to instant coffee and then have proper ground coffee, you definitely notice the effects more! I do warn them!

Probably just stretching the job out.

Got to be vaping or skiving on phones. Either is very plausible.

I employ a lot of trades and many are hard working and diligent. An equal number spend more than 50% of the time dicking around talking, making “Bantz”, taking calls, going to get supplies sandwiches and coffee just not focusing on the job.
