Hairdressers this week - cut 1-inch off or 3-inches? 😂

I would say 3 inch because it’ll make all the more difference 😜 but just do one and stay safe.

How many people do you know IRL who are on Mounjaro (or similar) even if they don’t admit it?

Not sure this counts - many millions of moons ago I was pregnant and starving on the way home from wherever. It was late and dark, went to a drive through Mac Donald’s, park in bay one please and we’ll bring it out to you blah blah . I was waiting in the car for aggggges and decide they had forgot about me, pulled my hoody on and stormed in and gave them a rocket about how it was supposed to be fast food and it wasn’t busy so how could they be so useless, stormed back to my car and realised as I got in I had my hoody on back to front. Looked a right tit but me and DH of the time were crying laughing about it.

How many BBQs have you been to or hosted this summer?

I could have written very very similar!

Absolutely working class. I’m not sure how the class structure works if I’m honest. Super comfortable and zero debt but have always worked.

What’s an unpopular opinion you have?

I'm on Ozempic for my diabetes (prescribed by the NHS) and am also slowly losing weight.

I know 2 people who have definitely been on them, one is my sisters stepdaughter and the other is a friend who lost 6 stones with weight loss surgery and used the jabs to lose another 6 stone.

I suspect one of my cousins and a male friend are taking them due to very rapid weight loss in a short period of time.

I just remembered a nurse who, when I was in hospital, told me she was taking them and had lost 2 stones, she said half of the nurses in the hospital are using them!

Do you always obey speed limits?

People cannot change sex and bio males do not belong in female spaces, prisons, sports or on shortlists no matter how much this hurtz their feelz
Also that it’s cream before Jam on a scone!

Fave movie theme tune ?

I do try and the higher the speed the more i adhere - the new ‘20 is plenty’ throws me though and I keep creeping over accidentally!!

Dream car ?

God loads - At work (children’s social care) it’s very female centric , middle aged and many overweight. Everyone’s on it including me now - I lost 5 stone off own bat but for last two am using MJ to make it easier as been a hard slog and I had stalled. Not now though it’s dropping off again. No idea how the young women with small kids can afford it I could never have even considered it in my late 20s early 30s without forgoing a family car or yearly holiday.
I know two people who won’t admit to being in MJ bizarrely but not sure why. Their business of course l, if but it is amusing when they bemoan the jabs and are self congratulatory about having ‘done it the hard way’ when we all know the truth.

The famous /well known study about this would suggest that women will tell you to go as short as they can persuade you and men to take off as little as possible lol

Brilliant 🤩 I could do with losing around 20lbs and would love to try it but I daren't.

I very much try to stick to the speed limits but occasionally may do a sneaky few over the allowed limits.

No, I generally don’t believe in conspiracy theories.

What time do you eat Christmas Dinner?

Whenever it is ready, which varies from about 3pm to 5pm. We have the big meal but are casual about timings.

What do you do on Hogmanay/ New Years eve?

Board game night

How many handbags do you own?

Not many! One handbag (that, funnily enough, I only purchased last week) and a few clutch bags from weddings/christening and the like, that’s all. My obsession is boots and coats, I dare not think how many I own 🫣

Do you check your boobs regularly? (and yes to the guys, I’m asking you too if you’re on here!)

These days it’s just a few drinks in the house, also board games and then watch the London Fireworks on TV.

laziest shortcut you do in the home -( I for example will run a dishwasher /washing machine with only 3 things in it -lazy cow that I am sometimes!)

Fave teacher at school and why?

Mr Mellor - Physics Teacher - he was a newly qualified Teacher and had a completely different teaching style to the rest of my Teachers. He was a very smiley person and had a quirky sense of humour. We all looked forward to his lessons.

A lot of the good teachers left in my final year of High School as unfortunately there was a scandal of a teacher/pupil relationship.

At your high school, were there any school scandals?

What time do you usually go to bed and wake up?

Stay home! I don't like New Year's Eve! (I love Christmas though).

We did go out on New Year's Eve a couple of times. The first time, we went to a restaurant which was lovely - but we were purposely back home before midnight. That's a nice memory. The second time, we went out with some friends and all was Ok until the clock struck midnight.... we didn't realise this was a signal for everyone to start kissing complete strangers. Urgh.... no thanks. This is my personal space - don't approach unless invited! 😁

Worst 'chat up' line you've heard?

Yes my best friend shagged our NQT Maths teacher at the end of year 5th year (yr11) disco after he gave her a lift home. He was gorgeous and we were all very jealous of her at the time.

My form tutor who was very funny and I really liked at the time, was arrested years after I’d left school for DV towards his wife who was also my sisters PE teacher at same school.
My sisters said she used to show up at school with a black eye, split lip, wrist in sling etc.

Scariest experience ever ?
