Skimming through a speech he made :

It's the usual " My PawPaw and Granddma, simple people, blood sweat and tears..." blah blah. Then this :

As I read through it, and taking out the far right stuff, I am wondering if this is Bernie I am reading here. And here we go, he mentions him :

Ahh. He mentions Bernie, then a quick pivot. Maybe that was an "oh shit" moment ? Maybe another speech writer hits the dust. " Who put Bernie in here, I can't mention him. I am saying what he says... mostly".
There is a new southern strategy afoot for sure. This new repug party are gonna out commie the communists, but call it something else ?
Socialism with MAGA characteristics? Or National Socialism? They do appear to be going to the left of the mainstream dems. Now it is the Dems that are the fat cat free market capitalists. Well, yes they are I suppose, but now MAGA are saying that the Dems are too far right on economics ?
