very grateful for recommendations for gripping, distracting podcasts that will get me through five hours.

Man In The Window - The Golden State Killer, its very disturbing

Root Of Evil is very good, very strange

Sweet Bobby is easy to listen to but I found I got very frustrated with the story

I’d not heard of Sweet Bobby till reading this thread. I love “true crime” podcasts but I got very frustrated by the way this one was being told at the end of the first episode, so I found the Netflix documentary and watched that. It was fascinating and horrifying at the same time. Somewhat spoiled by knowing what would happen from what I’d listened to on the podcast, but I really thought it was much better than the podcast. Obviously no use if you want something to listen to whilst driving, for example!

Foundling

For those who have listened to Foundling, where have you listened? I started on Apple Podcasts today, got 2 eps in and the rest seems to be behind a paywall, same with Spotify?

You have to pay the subscription fee. I did because I needed to know what happened. It is a shocking podcast and is gripping

@AhHereNow - I just now went to the Observer on line and registered for free, and I seem to be able to listen to all the episodes for free, except the trailer.

I literally just finished all 6 episodes, the only one that won’t play for me is the Bonus Q&A, which I’m actually gutted about because my goodness do I have so many questions!!!
