If so, what are you doing?
It’s on here but I’m pottering in the garden.

No,DH was watching a sci fi film, I've been watering the garden, swept the patio,it's been too hot all day to do it. He watered at 5pm. Waiting till it cools down enough to have a shower. SE UK,was 33c outside and 38c,air conditioner on now and staying on all night.

Nannyfannybanny · Yesterday 21:16

He watered at 5am!!

Littlebitpsycho · Yesterday 21:16

We're not, haven't watched any of the others either. No interest whatsoever

maldivemoment · Yesterday 21:16

We’re not. We’re in Scotland (nuff said 😆)

Neuronimo · Yesterday 21:17

I'm not I don't follow football. No tv upstairs and Ds and Dh have it on in the living room. I've been watching the programme on Youtube where they do 3D reconstructions of ancient skeletons and try and work out the history for them. It is really quite moving.

HoldMyWine · Yesterday 21:18

Me. I can’t stand football. I’ve been decorating my spare bedroom.

England just scored! ⚽

Wherethedogsits · Yesterday 21:19

Home alone listening to Van Morrison and flicking between my book and mumsnet.

Longsleepneeded · Yesterday 21:19

I've watched sewing bee, finished my book, now doom scrolling! Just heard shouts from the village so assume something exciting had happened but I'm sooooo not interested!

SleepingisanArt · Yesterday 21:19

Nope, not at all interested. Unfortunately a lot of our neighbours are watching it very loudly (groans, come on etc all at the tops of their voices) so I'm sure I'll know the result even before it hits the news. Meanwhile I've watered the garden and finished reading my book....

BringBackCatsEyes · Yesterday 21:20

It's on the telly, but I'm not watching - currently eating an egg and cress sandwich listening to Mary Beard. Just 1/2 an ear on it.

foodlovefood · Yesterday 21:21

Nope. Watching trashy Netflix documentary. But live in England but not English. I might go with him to watch the final for the atmosphere.

DP has gone to the pub as he wants to chat to football like people. Think I annoyed him on Saturday asking questions.

I think my whole street is watching. Someone has a projector in their garden. All I can hear is shouting. I am listening by default

ThereIsATInWater · Yesterday 21:21

Me , couldn't give a toss about football.

I've washed up, had a shower, lying in bed watching a crap film on Netflix , that I'm considering turning off and just doom scrolling.

FFSItsTooHot · Yesterday 21:22

I'm not. I'm checking the score online every now and then but I find it too boring to watch! I want England to win but I'm not really a football fan.

ImperfectAlf · Yesterday 21:22

Nope. Wrong shaped balls.
it’s on in the house but I couldn’t care less if I tried

TheTecknician · Yesterday 21:23

I'm not but I'm also in a pub where it's on TV. I'm facing the other way and listening to rastablasta grooves.

HappiestSleeping · Yesterday 21:24

I wasn't. I am more of an egg chaser than a footballist, but now my last dogs have been collected, I heard a cheer from a neighbour's house and it reminded me that it was on, and half hour of patriotism isn't too hard to endure.

juldan · Yesterday 21:25

I am not watching it. After 16 years of having to fit my life around football matches on TV and radio, I have been living in football free household for over 5 years now. DS has been watching it with his mates in pubs. I wouldn’t have minded him watching it on our ancient tv but he is not interested. DD doesn’t care. She loves F1 and has also enjoyed watching both Wimbledon finals with me last weekend.
I am in the garden and have had to play some music through the headphones as some idiot decided to blast the football so loud that the whole neighbourhood can hear it.

Paradoes · Yesterday 21:26

Never watched it or had interest in my nearly 50 years but watching as i like Jude as jes popped up on instagram and my sons are watching.

5128gap · Yesterday 21:30

No. My life contains quite enough ups and downs, hope and disappointment, without artificially creating more about something where the outcome makes no difference to my life either way.
I like that other people are taking so much pleasure from it though. I'm sitting in my quiet living room, on here, listening to DP and DS and the neighbours enjoying it.

Knittedfairies2 · Yesterday 21:31

No. I'm mindlessly scrolling and my husband is shelling broad beans from the allotment and watching 'Oppenheimer' on iPlayer.

Anon501178 · Yesterday 21:31

Wanted to but sadly not tonight as DD went to sleep really late last night and as a result her behaviour has been awful this evening, so we told her she needed to be in bed earlier and if she settled better tonight she could watch the highlights before school instead, and don't want to know the score before she does so now can't watch it either! 🤦‍♀️

Becuriousnotjudgemental1980 · Yesterday 21:32

The kids and dh are watching. I’m pottering about.

istherereallytimeforallthat · Yesterday 21:32

I'm watching an old repeat of Midsomer Murders.😂

ChaToilLeam · Yesterday 21:33

This Scottish/Welsh household isn't watching! I just mopped the kitchen floor. 😆
