If so, what are you doing?
It’s on here but I’m pottering in the garden.

I’m not watching. I am a little bit interested but unfortunately my attention span is too short to watch a whole match and I also don’t really understand the rules. So I’m sitting in the garden watching some old episodes of ‘Long Lost Family’ and intermittently checking the score. DH is watching the match at a friend’s; DD is at the beach and DS is watching the match overseas on his first lads’ holiday, so I’m hoping that won’t be too crazy. 😬

Dh & 1 have no interest in football & never watch it .

BlicklingBabe · Yesterday 20:54

Not me, I’ve just finished writing something for work. I’m going to hang up a load of washing and watch the Repair Shop on catch up.

Lovelyview · Yesterday 20:55

I started watching but got bored. I'm going to water the plants after I've finished my glass of wine.

allthegoodusernameshavegone · Yesterday 20:56

We’re binge watching I,Jack Wright, it’s brilliant a proper good drama.

igelkott2026 · Yesterday 20:56

Me! I did a fitness class for the first half and am now on MN.
Watching England is like sitting on a spike. I'll wait until it's all over.

closureatlast · Yesterday 20:56

I'm in bed reading. Dh is watching it.

spideysmumma · Yesterday 20:57

I have absolutely no interest in it but I have realised that we might get a bank holiday next week which will drastically improve my travel plans for a weekend away - so all of a sudden it’s come on England! 🤣

RaraRachael · Yesterday 20:59

I am in the same room as OH trying to concentrate on reading my Kindle while he rants and swears at the football.

Redrosesposies · Yesterday 21:00

Me. I've been repotting some search and rescue plants I picked up this morning.
DH isn't interested either.

Funny though my American cousins keep messaging me about it. They are far more interested than we are⚽⚽

UnderTheSycamore · Yesterday 21:01

I find it too stressful so am on here. I watched the France Spain match yesterday and quite enjoyed that. If England get through I'll probably watch the final.

PurpleCoo · Yesterday 21:01

Not me. I hate football.

I was watching Criminal Minds on my iPad in the garden. Now I am eating a snack. I will make a coffee shortly, put the end of a film I have been watching on and build some Lego now it's a bit too cold to sit outside.

Sirzy · Yesterday 21:01

Nope I’m not a football fan and as much as I want them to do well watching a match has no appeal!

Enko · Yesterday 21:02

Me. Dh and 2 youngest (in their 20s) are watching and yelling. I'm sat by the dinning table on mumsnet

Bubbleybees · Yesterday 21:02

Me. Wasn't going to anyway but our village keeps having power cuts and the drama/outrage is real 🤣

SowWhatNow · Yesterday 21:03

I'm on rightmove looking for my next home! I haven't decided where it will be yet or how much it will cost, but I have decided it will have a garage, good sized garden, 4 or 5 bedrooms (we'd need 3 bedrooms plus an office/guestroom), minimum 2 bathrooms, and a decent hallway. I'd love a walk-in wardrobe. I'm looking all over the country at the moment, so many lovely market towns catching my eye 😂

Should probably be a bit more realistic.

DreamingOfGeneHunt · Yesterday 21:04

No. I can't stand any kind of sport. None of it.

I'm watching Smile 2 and knitting and playing about on here.

thelastcakeismine · Yesterday 21:05

Nope, not interested-DH is though-he’s not a big football fan but does like to watch the big matches.

I’ve done a mini facial & manicure and now lying on the bed doom scrolling. Will read my book in a minute.

HippyChickMama · Yesterday 21:05

Dh and both dc are watching it downstairs, I have no interest so I’m upstairs catching up on some marking. Currently taking a break and listening to a podcast while scrolling MN

A jumper from a 1960s pattern, it's big and pink! (Rather like myself.)

sickofthissick · Yesterday 21:10

Absolutely not! Corrie's on!!!

KojaksLollipop · Yesterday 21:11

I will watch sport over anything else, I’m not a big football fan but I enjoy the World Cup and the euros. I’m watching but I’m stressed to all hell, so I’m on here and glancing up, when the commentary heats up, lol
DH is on his way to Manchester airport to pick up our ds who is on his way back from a holiday, he’s flying right through the game and is mad as hell about it. DH is a big football fan but of playing it, not as much watching it.

Copyalex · Yesterday 21:12

Me. I loathe football. I’m watching Spider-Man!

MinnieMountain · Yesterday 21:13

I've been reading The Buccaneers by Edith Wharton. I can hear DH downstairs watching it.
