And yet Prince Andrews and Boris Johnsons "security" have never breathed a word about the movements of their charges.

But "they" would know. The public are irrelevant.

Well irrelevant in the sense we pay for them.

Nigel doesn't think we need to know anything so certainly irrelevant in that respect

Indeed. Still trying to figure out how, if you leave at 8am in the morning from south Yorkshire, you get to that remote part of Dartmoor for 12.30.

The Beeb were very keen to tell us it is a 4 1/2 hour drive.

Might be a record of where he's been/met?

This. Also if he accepted it then he'd have had to stop whinging about how victimised he is. He'd rather just carry on snivelling.

'Carry on Snivelling', the perfect title for the Nigel Farage biopic.

TemperanceWest · 14/07/2026 11:08

Snivel Farage. I like it.

In case there was any doubt.

Restricting access to benefits isn't enough for Conservatives/Badenoch.

They want to deport/"remigrate" people who came here on legal work visas, not because of (debunked) claims about benefits/fiscal costs but because they've embraced an openly ethnonationalist agenda

Badenoch needs to rein her desperate pleas to be involved in government. It makes her look very needy. Why doesn't she just join Reform's band of cunning stunts? She would fit right in, despite her criticism of their leader.

It’s making her look weak. They had their 14 years, if they want to govern they need to make themselves electable again.

Badenoch is never going to be Prime Minister.

Badenoch is never going to be Prime Minister.

I think she knows that, hence the attempts to muscle in and make herself look relevant.

I suspect she believes her longevity is somehow due to her ability.

In much the same way that canaries imagined miners cared for them.

I do wonder if she ever reflects why her relative personal popularity doesn’t translate to support for her party.

Post July 24, the Conservatives pledged to reflect on the reasons why they lost so spectacularly. That doesn't seem to have happened.

BIossomtoes · 14/07/2026 12:16

Didn’t Badenoch say at one point they didn’t need policies or did I dream that?

£10 billion wasted. That's.... I'm genuinely lost for words.

A drop in the ocean compared to Brexit.

And the DUP made £10 billion disappear too.

placemats · 14/07/2026 12:22

£10 billion is indeed a shocking waste of tax payer's money. But, but, benefits, especially PIP - look over there!

Also, personally, I am prepared to swallow some waste. After all, we were up against it. A little like having to buy an HDMI cable from Currys for £10 that you could have got for £2 if you had ordered it in advance.

This is the problem once you go down the route of being corrupt - you end up with a permanent guilty conscience and unable to reasonably explain yourself.
