Perhaps Badenoch should rephrase in the style of Monty Python and the Spanish inquisition.

Actually let's start again:

"We need candidates with the six Cs: they must be clever, have charisma, communication skills, conviction and, most importantly, be Conservative and have a conscience.

you forgot "capable"

"The Muslim Council of Britain has issued this statement about the terror attack on an Islamic festival averted by police action at the weekend. (See 3.26pm.) Wajid Akhter, the MCB’s secretary general, said:

We thank counter-terror police for their swift action in arresting twelve people over a terrorist threat to an Islamic event this weekend, the speed of their response undoubtedly saved lives, and we are relieved everyone is safe.

This cannot be treated as an isolated incident. Barely a month after racist pogroms in Belfast and a terror-related incident in Edinburgh that left five men injured, this once again highlights that the threat facing Muslim communities is real, not imagined. MCB calls on ministers to match the language of condemnation with actual action and policy, not another round of statements that change nothing."

Of course "corrupt" begins with a "c".

Of course "corrupt" begins with a "c".

The response to that may well be, not saying it ever happened,

Who the fuck asked you for your opinion and input!

Coerce also begins with a c.

PickAChew · 13/07/2026 17:00

He goes to all the places that no one else would have even considered it possible to go to.

Nigel, you are being treated like the bottom dwelling, avaricious, dishonest, wankstain that you are. Maybe own it instead of turning into a less charming Vicki Pollard when challenged.

A war criminal for being asked why he was paid £5 million?

I suppose the relevant bit is that he said this in an interview to his own "in house" podcast - so he's flogging this nonsense to the true fans that will swallow anything he says.
The wider public won't swallow it.

dontcallmelen · 13/07/2026 17:15

He really doesn’t like being on the receiving end of any scrutiny does he, always think that anyone who gets all shouty & overly defensive when questioned or clarification sought is usually guilty.

DuncinToffee · 13/07/2026 17:39

They haven't thought this one through

https://bylinetimes.com/2026/07/13/reform-uk-plans-to-jail-candidates-for-using-irish-gaelic-or-cornish-on-election-leaflets/

Reform-backed amendment to Labour’s new elections Bill would see candidates who use the Irish language, Scottish Gaelic and Cornish face prison time.

New Clause 107 to the Representation of the People Bill – tabled by Reform UK’s deputy leader Richard Tice and co-signed by Reform MPs Lee Anderson, Sarah Pochin, Danny Kruger, Robert Jenrick, Andrew Rosindell and Suella Braverman – would require all election publications and election material to be “in the English language or the Welsh language” only.

Badenoch's take on prospective candidates standing for the Conservatives. Hmm...

Oh and also be committed to leaving the ECHR and not believing in net zero.

(because I just typed it)

Constituency ?

Farage accepts offer of meeting with official in charge of VIP security, and says he will discuss how all Reform politicians can be protected

Farage didn't even bother to attend the HoC debate but posted his acceptance on SM

Regarding the Irish language, removing it from election material is in breach of the Good Friday agreement.

dontcallmelen · 13/07/2026 18:22

So does Farage know more than the current police investigation on who or why Ann Widdecombe was murdered, hence the total urgency & concern of safety or is he using her awful death as a deflection for the millions he has been gifted.

placemats · 13/07/2026 18:24

This surely Suella & Jenrick should of been aware of this aren’t they both lawyers.
