Best shop bought ice cream

I've just finished the last of the tub in freezer, Mackie's Raspberry Ripple.
I'd give it 7/10.

What is your favourite please?

I usually only buy it for the Gdcs, but always Mackies traditional.

Just bought waitrose Peach melba , looking forward to eating the whole tub

Co-op cherry and mascarpone and M&S fully loaded trifle

I recently tried the m&s coconut one and absolutely love it (wouldn't normally have coconut but fancy trying it after reading abiut it somewhere).
It's expensive at £4.50 for a.smallish tub but to get decent ice cream now you have to pay a lot! I expect the other flavours in same range are good too.

M&s also do bigger tubs of cornish clotted cream ice cream in flavours such as chocolate - really good and my kids love.

Waitrose Santo Domingo chocolate is one of the best I've had!

They have recently changed the Feast (or at least in 2 places I bought it, it was different. Choc.ice cream replaced white some bland white ice cream and the beat but - the hard choc centre - replaced by some awful Nutella like substance.
A total travesty!

I also used to love green and blacks chocolate orange - is it just not for sale anymore? I don’t eat ice cream often so rarely wander down that aisle.
Having said that, I do like Crosta and mollica cherry and mascarpone ice cream and for chocolate I’d go Hagen dazs Belgian chocolate.

It was really good actually, ice cream was really creamy and there were actual decent pieces of peach in it.
I've got half the tub left for later 😄
I want to try their dark chocolate and sour cherry next, it was out of stock yesterday!

I always go for Kelly’s clotted cream if buying, though I tend to make mostly my own.

i always remember a dessert I had as a child, an aunts house I think, she took a bag of frozen berries and defrosted them, then tipped a tub of icecream into a mixer with the berries and mixed almost smooth well mixed anyway, back into the freezer to firm up. It was absolutely delicious and I keep saying I’m going to make it see if it’s as good as I remember. I’m worried she might have added sugar or something?

The choc and cherry is very good.
I need to try the peach melba now.
