This thread title is certainly apt given recent developments. It's not even August yet!

I certainly didn't think we would be discussing the ins and outs of Count Binface v Farage!

Brilliant, isn’t it? I haven’t enjoyed myself so much for years.

This Farage gimmick has made me smile. Poor Nigel.. nobody wants to play. Some of the posters/ memes posts on SM have been fabulous 😀I wish I lived near Clacton. I would definitely campaign for Binface.
The local Reform leader in my area ( who is an absolute knob) is not finding defending Farage easy and is completely unraveling, posting utter nonsense and commenting “ Andy Burnham”to anyone who criticises!
On the downside, one of the local Tory MPs has said that there is some leak re LGR and it is likely the option they are going to choose is absolutely the least favourable for my district.

How can Binface uphold standards when he’s trying to avoid being investigated by the Parliamentary Standards Commissioner?

His party are trying to brush this off on the basis that "obviously"he meant to refer to "one incident" and not "one murder". I don't know about anyone else, it doesn't seem to me that that makes it a whole lot better. Since when was the murder of 16 children and one adult, and severely injuring 15 other children, an "incident"?

You only have to look at the incidence of school shootings in the UK compared to the US to understand why we need these restrictions. How dumb do you have to be not to realise that?

Even Grimey has gone quiet after spending the weekend defending farage and backing up his most victimised spiel. Must be awaiting instructions.

The idea that Nigel "man o' the people" Farage has been blindsided by the same people who bought you Boaty McBoatface is bringing comfort as the planet boils.

E2A: Of course the media - to ensure balance - will have to put Count Binface policies to Farage (will they do a head to head ?) just as they will put Farages policies to Count Binface.

Unless Farage wants to have a hissy fit. Which all the other parties - with literally nothing to lose - are free to make hay with.
